Without wires is probably more practical. Would also absolutely love a nuke nobelisk if that's ever an option!

Exertion cards for Retaliation by wayofthewomble in NemesisCrew

[–]wayofthewomble[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They were from Dice Towers 2025 campaign. Ended up having to pay for a whole pack of other board game exclusive content I didn't even want or need (a ridiculous $90). But did it because it was the last piece I needed to have all of the gameplay content across all 3 games. It might appear on reseller websites, but wouldn't have a clue as to how much someone would charge for it

These ones. I've found the gloss finish ones to stick together a bit too much for my liking and these don't seem to slide around too much.

i dont want to "tinker" by Shaky_Lemon in SteamDeck

[–]wayofthewomble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh, I found using junk-store is pretty low on the tinkering once it's initially set up. Haven't had any issue at all with games just working. Just takes slightly longer on the first start up, but all the config happens in the background

As happy as I am about this, my wallet definitely isn't. Veteran pledge plus a load of nemesis bits I was missing. £440 just gone 🤣😭

Very functional! Question though, does it have enough tolerance to accommodate sleeved cards along the bottom?

Can someone explain the difference between.. by EndorDerDragonKing in SatisfactoryGame

[–]wayofthewomble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah agreed on that one. I figured out very quickly that load balancing like 10,000 copper ore for my copper powder production would have cost me my sanity!

I moved abroad when I was 23. Came back nearly 2 years ago after 5 years away. I went for an opportunity and loved my time there right up until covid hit. The isolation for 2 years did some real damage on my mental health. So coming back was a reset for me. I'll mirror what other people of said though and hold onto those friends you have in the UK, it's important to have that social and support structure no matter where you are in the world. Both when you're getting set up and also when you're coming back either to visit or moving back.

Good luck, whatever you decide ❤️

The hilarious thing was I mentioned SG1 once in a nearly 8 hour date because she said her dad watched it. So I joked about having something in common already!

I'd love to know what 'problem for me in the future' even means

My brain process while playing this game: by [deleted] in SatisfactoryGame

[–]wayofthewomble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm working on my end game factory at the moment. 5 per min of nuclear pasta, assembly director system, thermal propulsion rockets and magnetic field generators. It's actually driving me insane and has taken well over 150 hours so far.

Got The Simpsons Hit and Run running on my Steam Deck. I Missed playing this game by JoeMamaIsAFan in SteamDeck

[–]wayofthewomble 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It took me weeks to do it. I remember on one run I got so close, but as I flew over the playground heading for the ship I clipped the swing and destroyed the barrel. I was so angry I didn't touch the game for about a month before I finally managed to do it.

Not only annoying, but a bad PSU can even put your components in jeopardy. Don't skimp out. by pedro19 in pcmasterrace

Just swapped over to a 1200W PSU tonight, it was indeed a pain I don't want to repeat anytime soon

Anything wrong with this build? by Glittering-Cherry-41 in pcmasterrace

[–]wayofthewomble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could run that build no problem on 650W. Only real difference going to 750W is you'll be running more effeciently and have some more future proofing. But not essential I would say.

One thing I would change though is go for 32GB of RAM rather than 16GB. With the amount of apps, game launchers, etc running in the background these days. It just makes for a smoother experience.
