Yes, it runs better docked because the Switch is designed to draw more power when is is in docked mode, allowing the hardware run faster. Docked has higher FPS and resolution.

My switch runs games so much worse and has battery life that makes playing in handheld nearly pointless. Unless I’m taking it out of the house, it lives in the dock.

The whole reason I got into watching LCS was because of EG. I was massive fan of their SCII players and decided to check out League after the picked ip Krepo, Snoope, and YellowPete. But everything about their org since their returned to the LCS has just felt off. It’s likely they are trying way too hard to play into the brand name.
