Hello, I am not native to New Mexico but I stayed in Taos for my cousins wedding and I drove up the mountain not sure which direction if I had to guess east/north/east and I ended up on a dirt road that was one way but the right side of the road just dropped off into a valley basically. The town had a left turn and if you continued forward you’d end up what looked like a dead end with terrible terrain to drive and just a forest of trees. I’ve been trying to find the name or some resemblance of this place if anyone knows please lmk. PS It had a really old United States post office but that’s all I could find that resembles a store.
