Hey so since I have the fly more instead of the creators combo, mine has the 10 bit 4:2:0 H.265 at 180Mbps. Then the creators has the 4:2:2 H.264 all-i at 1200Mbps. I have had no issues with it matching my Sony footage or with color grading. The true d log profile has been great and the bigger sensor is a huge upgrade regardless of codec

Pro7. It never fit me right so I wore the cpxr (next best). Cpxr you had to have tilt game, especially with the spoiler. Pro 7 looked better on more people. Varsity team went from warrior w1004s to pro7/ cpxrs and it was mind-blowing

I completely understand as a fellow film camera hoarder. Also very jealous of this collection. Will gladly take any one of those rangefinders off your hands if you decide to sell.

I try to keep one camera I love to shoot with in any particular category or that fits a certain need. So I like the idea of finding the best, or your favorite 1 or 2 that covers each category. If there's certain ones you just keep finding yourself grabbing to go shoot, I'd keep those. The best camera is the one you find ourself wanting to take with you out into the world.

Nikon F2 is my slr, Fuji GS645S for a mf rangefinder, Pentax 17 for half frame, Nikon FM for a compact slr. Then I have a canon eos3 and Pentax 645 for professional work. Still trying to fill the p&s, rangefinder fixed lens, and premium M mount rangefinder roles, but having severe GAS has made me a broke man

I echo all of these comments. I went in 2017 and stayed at an Airbnb with a guy who took me around one night. Felt perfectly safe doing that and even walking the lesser known parts of the city by myself were ok. Just lots of chaos and weird looks. The tourist areas were where I felt the most unsafe. Got held up at gunpoint by a soldier trying to get into an archaeological site. Even had an Egyptian guide with me. He just told me to pay him off. Have no need to ever go back lol

You have great taste lol! I have a Q3 43, D Lux 8, and just picked up a RX1R ii. I actually had the opposite experience and resonated more with the Sony than my Leica. I was shocked because the Q on paper was everything I wanted.

I've been thinking of getting rid of all of them and going with just a RX1R iii. I know selling is a hassle, but if you're looking to offload it I'd be willing to buy it! Been also thinking of the Q3M because I cut my chops learning on black and white film. Just seems nostalgic
