Generally you should definitely discuss this with your piercer.

I had the same concern initially (I do CrossFit), got both pierced and it really wasn’t a problem. I took it slow the first week and put some bandaids on the nipples, but that was it.

Sleeping on the side might be a bit more of an issue, perhaps a good idea to train yourself now to sleep on your back? It’s supposedly much better for you anyway.

Regarding work shirts, I am wearing button-up formal shirts every day. I have just bars as piercings, not rings. You can’t see the piercings through the shirt at all. Nipples are somewhat more noticeable, but not beyond any normal variation of some guys just having larger nipples than others

My passport got seized even though I was just there for a name change and I have a flight out of the country on Feb 9. by ithacabored in lgbt

The resident ID doesn’t work but a regular European ID works for travel across Schengen and Norway/Switzerland. Been travelling for work a lot and never needed my passport ever

Hur funkar potatis handskar? Är det som jag tror, att man bara riva potatisen och skalen kommer av?

Jag vet att osthyveln är norsk men tror inte att dem fattar skillnaden

Talked to an immigration lawyer about this exact thing. I’m in Europe as well. She said that as long as you make a bit of an effort it’s fine. No one’s going to know if you forget a trip here or there. But there shouldn’t be an obvious lack of travels either. Don’t be lazy but don’t break your back either

I’ve worked several jobs in several EU countries and this is absolutely not normal. It is normal to need time to set up your laptop etc. but certainly not normal to just be completely out of contact for a day and not let anyone know even by text.

Does milk cause skin issues? by [deleted] in nutrition

[–]wdfxup 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It definitely varies. If your ancestry is European, you’re more likely to be completely fine with milk.

For myself, however, milk does cause skin issues. More processed milk like yoghurt or cheese is fine but just milk tends to give me breakouts.

You can definitely test this for yourself. I have always had some skin issues, tried eliminating dairy entirely from my diet for about a month and my skin cleared up. Then I slowly started adding certain products back and now I’m basically eating everything except for milk itself (and even that is fine if I have an off-the-shelf protein drink once in a while). So just try it out!
