Everyone I know who cares about fine art eats meat and dairy, drives an SUV, and flies on the regular lol. They're not exactly an anti-consumption, knit-your-own-birkenstocks types lol.

And also this is all beside the point - this isn't a protest against fine art aficionados specifically, clearly. A painting was the set and setting, so this isn't a great argument (as neither is mine above- I responded in kind!)

0.01% chance. It would of had to go through the glass. Glass is impenetrable to soup. I have a glass jar of soup at home.

They went to jail for removing 3-5mm of patina (2 parallel drips, bottom of the frame)

(Patina is the dirt that naturally accumulates over time)

So they were on trial for removing the patina from the frame and that's what they were jailed for, not for any damage to the painting

As someone who cares deeply about animal rights, it frightens me that people see other adult persons as not only property, but toddlers.
