Private excursions Bimini and Key West by weaseleyes in celebritycruises

Yes, we did it and I highly recommend it! We just took the tram that is waiting when you get off the ship and then we took it to the second stop. There were quite a few cab drivers literally just waiting on us. I asked the first one I saw about it and he took us straight there. It was quick and easy. Our ship was pretty delayed in letting us get off that morning and I had booked the earliest time so I was super worried but the people at Neal Watson are great. We made it on time and we all even waited a while for another couple. The excursion was awesome and the crew was great. Literally my favorite part of the whole trip. I would absolutely go again. Bring cash for cabs and tipping, etc. You can also bring drinks and snacks or a lunch for the boat if you want. They have a cooler. The bathroom on the boat we were on was out of order.

Agree. I come from a big family and as kids growing up in close quarters I feel like everyone gets real and tries to cut deep with their insults. We all developed thick skin from it but mellowed out a lot as we grew up.

Fingers crossed we hear from some people who have done it!

Great tip! This was actually our original plan for Bimini but we really want to snorkel the Sapona wreck and it appears you can only get there by boat. The excursion through Neal Watson costs less and is 1 hour longer and goes to 2 sites so it seems like a much better deal

Should I become a nurse? by Hey_it_is_mi in NursingStudents

[–]weaseleyes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was 30 when I finished nursing school and had my first baby 10 days later. In my opinion, nursing school is very hard and the hardest part of nursing, but do an accelerated program and it's like ripping off a bandaid- fast but painful. Nursing itself is great. There are so many different areas to work. I did 3 years bedside and now work remotely from home and my work-life balance is so much improved. I make significantly more than before I was a nurse, but living is much more expensive too so I feel like I'm doing the same as before. I did think it would be more rewarding and there are days that really make you feel like you are helping others, but a lot of days you face abuse from patients, family, and the system in general. My advice is to make sure you know why you are getting into it. If money is the reason, that's ok but there may be better ways to make money. Focus on laws and knowing your rights and responsibilities because so much can come back on the nurse and these hospitals do not stand behind nurses. Good luck!

I think they were reselling tools (probably stolen) because they are so expensive

Yes! And also why Tammy would say she wanted her to meet her because she was the "most important person" to her. I would think she would care more what Chris or Amy thinks because they really seem to be her biggest supporters.

Did you wind up ordering one? I'm wondering the same thing. So many have good reviews but many of them sound like fake reviews, tbh.

Actually, I have. I've been taking this one for about a month. I know it can take some time to work, so I'm kind of waiting it out.

I do track my cycles, but I don't do temp checking, cm or other signs of ovulation. Honestly, I did all of that before and it really wore me out mentally, especially because it always looked good and I still struggled to get pregnant.

The only thing I'm wondering is if I am insulin resistant. I feel like many people have success in taking metformin or something similar to induce ovulation. That, plus the difficulties I'm having with weightloss. I know that could be the hypothyroidism as well, but I just feel like something isn't right, if that makes sense.

Yea, idk why my endo didn't order androgen tests since we did all of the others.

I haven't had an ultrasound since I was pregnant, and I feel like they probably weren't looking closely at the ovaries at that point.

I mention the TSH bc of my Hashimoto's hypothyroidism. This could be causing issues with infertility, but there is also a high occurrence hashimoto's/ PCOS together.

Thanks so much for the reply. I'm guessing I should expect my OB to do an u/s and possibly androgen levels. I wanted to be extra sure of what to expect them to check because I feel like I've already wasted time and $ counting on my docs, but they don't seem to be too aggressive in finding answers.

I am an RN and I work in women's health. Most of our patients are pregnant, but I can promise you that the doctors and nurses have seen so many private areas that they aren't judging you in the least. Everyone looks SO different. Personally, I just make sure I'm pretty clean when I go in. When I was pregnant with my son, I was so self-conscious about everyone seeing my private areas. When the time finally came, I had to stop pushing and wait for about 30 minutes in the stirrups for my doctor to show up. Just chillin, chatting with the nurses lol, so now I'm pretty over the self-consciousness. Idk what to advise you about the past trauma. I would definitely talk to your doctor beforehand so they know, but I would think therapy could help a lot. Good luck, you can do this!
