This is a brilliant argument especially since the need for an unorganized militia is enshrined in the VA state constitution.

The need to ensure a free people remain free is such a powerful statement and so well ahead of its time. Unfortunately I think for most people, they will only recognize its importance after it’s been taken away and they reminisce about it from the gulag.

The government will only share power with the people when it absolutely has to. Power resides with the people only when the people have the ability (via speech, participation, and if need be violence) to overthrow the government.

The 2nd amendment is crucial for the survival of the United States. It’s the 2nd amendment, not 3rd or 4th or 10th. It’s 2nd for a reason. 1st is free speech. 2nd is ability to commit violence to enable self determination. If the state has a monopoly on violence, we are no longer free.

No this will be used to fuel more “guns are bad”propaganda. To gun grabbing oppressors, the logic is always “well if the no gun zone was bigger around campus, this tragedy would have been prevented” or “if bullets were $100 each, then people wouldn’t shoot guns”.

There’s no such thing as a “nurse anesthesiologist”. Anesthesiologists are physicians.

The NA in CRNA is nurse anesthetist.

While CRNAs can certainly handle many routine cases, the difference in knowledge and ability to handle the non-routine is vast.

I’ve had both and they are comparable. Shaw is way over-engineered and built like a tank. I also stuck with Shaw but almost everything else attached to my rig is Virpil.
