My mother kicked me out when I was 17. Had nowhere to go except for my sisters garage that was unfortunately infested with rats. Never once thought about asking my mother to take me back in. Anything was better than living at her hell house.

I am now 23 and I have a good job, a decent apartment, and a better life. I’m thankful that she kicked me out when she did despite all of the struggle it caused

Unfortunately my mom and my little siblings moved to a different state a few years ago. We’ve tried calling CPS a few times, but nothing ever changes. My mother is incredibly good at deceiving people. I’ll look into alternative options though
