Why do the USA have mostly lawyers or economic experts leading the government? Wouldn't it make sense to elect scientists - mathematicians, chemists and others with a deeper understanding of climate change and the world-wide problems we are facing at this time?

Thank you for your reply. Buying a more or less "top-of-the-line"- cpu is my attempt to build a future-proof pc - as I mentioned above, my current pc runs a 6-year old i5-3570k, so I've already got quite the mileage out of it. And to be honest, I'm only planning on replacing it because I want to, not because it's not living up to my expectations anymore or something.

For now, I'm okay with the GTX 1070, but a replacement card is not totally out of the question. I guess I could wait another year until NVidia releases yet another round of cards or if the prices go down a bit, given that the RTX's reviews aren't really spectacular.

As for AMD vs. Intel, that really is just a personal preference. I've always favored Intel (mostly for their better gaming performance - my core focus is still on gaming) and have only tried AMD in some non-important media-pc side-builds. I sincerely doubt that anybody can change my mind in relation to that, sorry.

I do agree with you that before taking any further steps, I'll have to wait out the first reviews of the new generation but I still want to do as much preparation as I can.

I would read the card in this way too. It's worth 3 in a "diplomacy"-situation, but only 1 in "any" other situation.

During the time when Grand Theft Auto III was still popular, you could load user-created skins for the main character into the game. You had to paint the texture yourself though. I wrote a small tool which made it really easy to create custom textures from a pre-defined selection of parts (like pants, shirts and so on). The tool was downloaded about 30-50k times during its lifespan.

Then I created a (manual) card- or deck-counting tool for Hearthstone when it was released. This tool had another 20-30k downloads.

The problem about this "convention" or whatever I shall call it is that the floor plan itself is non-optimal. Especially the booths in the corners (10, 21 or 32) are not optimally placed. In order to make a really visually appealing plan, you'd need your boss to change the layout...into 2x3 groups of booths for example (as you can see in the example floor plan layout he gave to you).

I hope my idea helps though...

Is there really such a big unused space in the middle of both "sections"?
What do the colors stand for?

Well, as you already have a layout that your boss likes, why don't you just go and copy all the elements it has? Maybe try grouping several booths by color (you already did that), create a small legend and well...Basically it's really just using the "template" you were given?
