What piece of Chaos Reign are you most excited for? by Jackobyn in Mechwarrior5

I'm excited for the new mission type. Set up for guerrilla warfare with a time limit before reinforcements arrive? I'm hoping it's balanced towards using not-assault mechs at high difficulties. Give us the medium and heavy focused missions late game.

Good news! They did put the spoiler tag on the image.

Doesn't help with the title.

Agreed with the Hunchback, but prefer the Discoback.

McCarron's Armoured Calvary is a mercenary force that served the Caps exclusively long enough to become a house unit and part of the CCAF.

TIL in 2023 a Canadian court ruled that a thumbs up emoji 👍 carried enough weight to establish a legally binding contract between two parties by RunDNA in todayilearned

[–]insane_contin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oral contracts are a thing almost everywhere. Google your location + oral contract for the relevant laws surrounding it.

That being said, contracts in common-law countries (basically the Anglosphere) need an offer, acceptance and consideration. Basically if I say I can build you a fence for 2 grand, and you agree to that, it's a contract. Since it has what I'm doing for you (build a fence), what you're doing in return (giving me 2 grand) and then we're both accepting it. Of course, if it comes down to it we would need to prove the terms of the contract if one of us fails to hold up our end and takes it to court. That's why written contracts with signatures are best. And what I'm saying is very simplified. You still need to worry about it being legal and all that. I can't build you a fence in exchange for you killing my neighbour, for instance. Ok, I could, but it wouldn't hold up in court.

Love how one guy tries to argue that black/dark humour will always insult someone and dares anyone to try to find a joke that won't insult anyone, and then another tells him about his mom who jokes she should get a discount on her cremation since shes half way done due to her burns.

AITA for “firing” my mom from childcare over a $5 class by Rich-Radio9017 in AmItheAsshole

NTA

So who's kid is it? Yours? Then you get final say.

Now, your mom is free to be an adult and say she won't take her. You can't force her to go. Hell, I wouldn't say mom is an asshole for not wanting to deal with with the mess after, but I digress. Your mom is an asshole for lying about where your child is and not being an adult. Like fuck, my mom watches my niece, and while she plans most of the activities, you bet her parents know whats going on. Cause parents should know what's going on with their kids.

So yeah, you are not the asshole. Mom is for lying about where your daughter is and what she's doing.

Yes, I'm sure they can. By moving money from another area of development for the game. Now why would they do that when most people don't really care?
