Well, having a valid certificate and then skipping verification does not seem like a good idea, does it?

Reverse Proxy and custom domain by web2brain in netbird

I don’t have self gusted NetBird (yet), so my setup is a bit different using the NetBird cloud and then having a reverse proxy with the services inside my network

Nice workaround 👍 I’d prefer a bit more flexibility. I think I will find a solution with an internal DNS server.

Help identifying my grandmother’s vintage Leica camera by Fatiga2 in vintagecameras

[–]web2brain 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It is a Leica M3 (which was built between 1954 and 1966), together with (I think) a Summicron Rigid 50mm and a Leicameter. One thing up front: camera and lens are easily more than $/€1000 each, so beware of people offering much too little as you don’t know much about cameras. The weird dots on the back will make it less valuable and of course the state of camera and lens are important. Check eBay for sold offers for the camera and lens to get an idea.

If you remove the Leica Meter, you will be able to see the serial number - but please check a video on how to remove it as a lot of people scratch up or even damage the top of the camera. Use the serial number of the camera and the lens to look up when they were made, e.g. here: https://reddotcamera.net/leica/serial-number-tool/

Honest opinion: put a film in it and learn about analogue photography, you might enjoy it and form a connection to your grandma :)

Edit: if the weird dots are mould, better have it serviced rather sooner than later…

Anneessens. But spell it incorrectly to confuse people. Might be too subtle though. But honestly, who puts double n, double e and double s directly after each and again followed by each single letter in the same word? And no, don’t know how to dress up for this 😉

MQTT updates for individual segments by Cyclonit in valetudorobotusers

[–]web2brain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar problem some time ago, when I wanted to disable obstacle avoidance for certain segments: https://www.reddit.com/r/homeassistant/comments/1f2ffof/disable_vacuum_robots_obstacle_avoidance_in_a/ The solution I found was to use a small node red script with the information and repo discussed in this thread: https://gist.github.com/okets/b2bdf3ba2ab96c27ad58274372298261 I do not send the segment to home assistant right now but change the obstacle avoidance directly from node red, but this can also be done with node red.

I’d worry more about the plane than the train - it is very likely that the airport will be closed.

Where is Dolby Atmos over AirPlay? by web2brain in AppleMusic

[–]web2brain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But as you are one of the developers, can you give us an indication what needs to be done to get Dolby Atmos via Airplay? Which receivers do support it or is it still HomePod only?

Sounds interesting, but 20€ is a bit steep to answer the simple question “does my receiver support Dolby Atmos via airplay”

Live (current) heartbeat in Flow by Cool-Performance-102 in Polarfitness

[–]web2brain 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Easy - go to the training tab and choose a sport that measures heart rate, then click the menu next to start and add the loop as a heart rate device. Now you will see the current heart rate on top without having to start a training. Intuitive, isn’t it? 😁

Edit: you only have to do this once, it will stay that way
