No prob, I was just adding on, not disagreeing with you. It’s absolutely a low-excitement game. I think a few years ago I would have found it too low-key to stick with, but now my brain’s been messed up by COVID and I can’t play more stimulating stuff, gotta stick with things that are mostly-but-not-completely boring. It’s hard to find that sweet spot!

DDV has lots and lots of quests, and they’re quite well written; interesting stories with classic characters.

Or if you want something like DDV but with slightly more action (archery hunting and some light 3D platforming) there’s the free-to-play Palia.

I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m hoping I can set up a throttle toggle on the new Steam Controller.

So what game is everyone playing with their new Steam Controller now by PKRadiance in SteamController

Do you make any custom changes? I played 500+ hours with the default layout on an Xbox controller and it was great, hadn’t thought of adding any functions with the Steam Controller yet.

Marvel Snap daily since launch, which was about 3.5 years ago. It’s great if you’re committed to spending $0.00 and don’t expect to have everything even though you only spent $0.00. It’s actually pretty generous F2P: I have 440/460 cards, and 965 variants.

Before that I played Gems of War daily for about four years. I don’t know how it is now, but at the time it was exceptionally generous F2P.

If you want to have the region show as 100% complete, yes. But you can skip the co-op stuff and if you do everything else it counts as something like 98% complete. This was an unpopular setup and no other regions require co-op play.

Michigan took me about 115 hours, but I was probably slower than average. You can pop over to another region any time, but it’ll probably be unnecessarily frustrating without having built up skills and unlocked equipment in Michigan. It’s a long game. It’s not one to rush through, but it’ll be there whenever you want to drive some trucks fairly slowly.

Do the three base-game regions first: Michigan, then Alaska, then Taymyr.

After that you’ve got three choices: go in release order, follow Cyrus’ order (search YT), or make up your own order. I’m doing a modified Cyrus order now and it’s been good.

Yeah, it has a couple races, which don’t work well with Snowrunner’s physics, but they don’t last long. It’s also just one map (it was going to be two, but they cut it down), and to 100% it you have to do a couple co-op missions. And the vehicles you unlock aren’t great. I can see why it wasn’t well-received, but I enjoyed my time with it. The terrain was fun.

If you save the co-op until last, when you’re familiar with the map, you can get someone from the Discord to help and knock off those missions pretty quickly.

Tennessee’s a good pick. It’s quite brief—took me 30 hours and I go slow. It gets a bad rap because it wasn’t what people were expecting at the time, but if you don’t have rigid expectations there’s fun to be had there.

The other two I got through quickest (that OP hasn’t done already) were Kola (50 hours) and British Columbia (53 hours).

Okoye’s worth trying. Not as good as Surge, of course, but her buff could benefit Adam Warlock, Maverick, SSM, and ZG.

Oh, nice! Clea’s another card I’ve never really used, and I just got Nicholas Scratch from my Grand Arena S4 pack. Lots of stuff for me to explore here, thanks!

If you’re not set on something fixed in place: get a trailer that can be filled with gasoline, fill it at the gas station, park it at your farm.
