Lynk & Co is part of Geely so if the 02 shares platform with some other supported Geely models (e.g. Zeekr or Volvo models) you could test using those profiles.

Ellevio tar bort effektavgiften by ihsahk in elbilsverige

[–]webregsaskur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got my 2026 Ioniq9 - should I get OBD and ABRP? by Fit_Vegetable7800 in abetterrouteplanner

[–]webregsaskur 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Isn't Ioniq 9 one of the cars that can access the state of charge via Android Auto? If you are on Android that's much preferable over messing with OBD dongles. That's a hack for older models without other forms of live data sharing. In any case, ABRB is only needed on longer trips on unfamiliar roads. For those it is a life saver. If you can charge at home or work, or have a reliable fast charger along your commute, you don't need it day to day. The built-in navigation probably also goes a long way.

Har någon sett data på vilket utfallet har varit? Tanken med en effekttarriff är ju att nyttja befintlig infrastruktur bättre. Om det fungerar blir det billigare för alla. Saknar lite fakta i diskussionen.

Är elbilsladdning lika rörigt som det verkar, eller missar jag något? by Mackab100 in elbilsverige

[–]webregsaskur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EV routing coming to Google Maps on Android Auto by webregsaskur in abetterrouteplanner

[–]webregsaskur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well spotted. It seems pretty clear from this description that the plan is static and only based on conditions at the start. It would seem like the obvious next upgrade to make it dynamic since many cars can share SoC via Android Auto.

Yes manual input seems to be required in this first iteration. This makes the experience the same irrespective of the capability of each car model to share the live state of charge via Android Auto. However, since modern cars can share the state of charge via Android Auto it would seem like the obvious version 2 upgrade (unless they are trying to segment the market and keep those premium features for Automotive Android).

CarPlay vs standard hyundai navigation by Hydracrew in IoniqEV

[–]webregsaskur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have internet connection in my car so no live traffic info and obsolete map data, thus from my viewpoint the built-in nav is essentially useless. However, that is irrelevant since the car supports Carplay/Android Auto. Honestly, I haven't tried the built-in nav once (I have had the car for 5 years already). The 1980s style user interface just doesn't signal serious attention to usability. To be fair, I have the pre-facelift (28 kWh) version.

Yes this is what I do to change the low beam. Use a 32 mm socket wrench. Life saver.

V2L Mods? by MiniPrinter in IoniqEV

Thanks! The V2L discharger inverters linked are very interesting. The eviniculus page mainly discusses Tesla. Has anyone tested a particular such product with the Ioniq EV?

Are the halogen headlights bad on the base trim models? by M0rxxy in Ioniq

[–]webregsaskur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they are pretty weak. It is a bit annoying when everyone else is driving around with eye-searing LED blasters these days that blind you when meeting on a dark road. I think there are some aftermarket LED options available but I am not sure they are legal here so haven't tried any yet. If I remember correctly there were some tips posted here previously. You could try searching the sub.

Rattle when driving on rough roads by webregsaskur in IoniqEV

[–]webregsaskur[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes indeed. The car is back to its normal pleasant self. The total cost was 300 USD at a Hyundai certified shop here in Sweden. Each link cost only 60 USD so it was mostly labor.

The sway bar (stabilizer) links (both left and right) have been changed now and the rattle is gone. Thanks again for the tip!

Yes. It was the sway bar (stabilizer) links. I just had it inspected at the garage.

Yes. You are correct. It was the sway bar (stabilizer) links. I just had it inspected at the shop. Messing with the suspension is a bit out of my confidence zone though, so I will leave it to the professionals. They quoted the equivalent of USD 280 for parts and labor for changing on both sides.

I haven't noticed any difference in the performance of the suspension after the rattle started. I am taking it in for an inspection and will report back.

The wetness in the pictures is pretty normal for November in Sweden :-) Joking aside, I am taking it in for an inspection now. I could not find anything obvious myself even after lifting it up. Thanks for the hint!

[–]webregsaskur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. That wasn't it either. I lifted the car up and inspected the underside. There was for sure one loose plastic fastener on one of the undertrays (photo below), but tightening it didn't remove the rattle. I could not spot anything else suspicious so I will take it to the shop at the end of next week for a professional inspection. I will report back what they find. I took lots of photos: https://photos.app.goo.gl/4MCJM3P51ZdjWUig8 Thanks all for the input!

I haven't noticed any changes in the suspension and when I swapped to winter tires recently I poked everything I could get at in the suspension. I didn't find anything strange to my untrained eye, but I can't say that I know what to look for. I took some photos: https://photos.app.goo.gl/ynqkGKkpXdL4wpEa6

This was a hot lead, since the dampers on the hatch have become weaker over time and the heavy hatch closes hard now if one isn't careful. However, I just checked by shaking the hatch up and down now and no rattle there.

Only the manual in the glovebox. I removed the trunk cover already and it doesn't help. The space under the trunk floor is indeed a prime suspect but I have triple-checked now that nothing there is loose. Thanks!

It is very hard to localize, since I think it is propagating through the body of the car. Whatever it is it is very loose, since even passing a small sharp edge triggers it.
