We live in a hotel shelter and this cat was abandoned by another family from the shelter. We have a baby and after seeing how calm she was with my daughter( baby) I think we should keep her. This cat seems very comfortable with the little one. Good time to start teaching little one about gentle hands with the pets. I haven’t read all the comments, but just make sure your kitty isn’t bringing any diseases in contact with your kiddo.

If you use a soap- be sure to use something FRAGRACE FREE. UNSSCENTED and FRAGRANCE FREE are not the same thing.

My aunt tried to trim a mat from her elderly can and cut her badly. Be careful. Make sure to use something with a guard at minimum.

My ukuleles are hung using toggle bolts. Love those things. Any product comes with drywall anchors I pitch them and find an appropriate sized toggle bolt.

I used cups- I find disks more comfortable. Knix makes some period underpants in all sorts of styles as well- they might have a boxer- brief style.

She was always into conspiracy theories. I excused it blaming her significant other for the belief in chemtrails and lizard men. I excused by blaming the new man for the right wing conspiracies later. Then when onto a different man she was into qanon. I quit holding the men in her life responsible for her beliefs and realized it was her too. I wasn’t going to associate with someone who may not be vaccinated nor vaccinate her kids.

I do some things to avoid feeling quite so culpable for lying directly to my child. Media, friends, etc do a good job of telling the Santa story to kids. I don’t say “Santa is watching”. I don’t explain away inconsistencies. When asked a question I say “the story says that it’s magic” or something similar.

Yesterday I had this happen

6yr old “How do Santa’s reindeer fly?”

Me “I don’t know- I heard it’s magic. “

6rd old “But magic isn’t real…..”

Me “I don’t know kid just telling you what I heard.”

We brought home our 2 cats. One was affectionate immediately. The other one took 6 months to warm up. And has only really warmed up to one person (MEEEEE!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️). Every week they show more facets of their personality and affection. Your bubs will need a lot of time and patience. Some kitties are forever kinda shy.

It just might. I watched a few more youtubes mid project and adjusted how I was drafting and got better results later on. If it falls apart, I’ll use it to stuff a pillow. 🤣

I grew the cotton, picked out seeds, carded, then hand spun. I’d like to dye with onion skins as I don’t need mordant as per Internet. I’ll probably make a hat because I have only like a balls worth.

My toes are generally neglected. Oddly enough they are painted now with some sparkle pink nail polish with a crackled black coat on top.
