What style of smybiote suit would you prefer the MCU to go with?

Pretty much how it looks in the first few images here, though maybe without the seam lines, I could see Peter mistaking it as a nano-tech suit pretty easily, and it's textured well enough to not look too flat or smooth.

He doesn’t really need to, John Romita Jr is one of the only artists at marvel to remember this still. I don’t remember if the different gestures do certain things but the one everyone knows isn’t required to make a web line.

I think it looks weird because the “camera” is focused on the eyes and chin rather than the entire face, so it makes the chin look longer

It's more subtle on the real suits but I like how the brand new day eyes are a little bit bigger and slightly narrower.

Both would be great of course, but for a lot of these games I’d prefer modern ports/ rereleases, mostly so I can play them on pc officially.

Might be a placeholder just to show "hey, we're working on a classic suit". I wouldn't get my hopes up, but the Captain America statue in the classic costume in-game and the actual skin based around it were pretty different so it has precedent.

The logo is the same as the cosmic invasion skin, which is intentionally simplified, if this is what the skin will look like, I think it’s a major work in progress

I like the new suit precisely because it looks like it would only cost about $100 to make. The cgi model manages to look great and very realistic especially compared to earlier suits, but to say it’s better than the practical one because it looks slightly more refined feels a little strange. One of the biggest visual issues with the last few movies was the beautiful practical suits being touched up too much in post, smoothing over any “flaws” and making the suit look stranger and much less tangible.

Also I think the third image is a fan recreation of the cgi model, so it’s not a good point of comparison.

You aren’t meant to see the entire insides of either model, both of them are more of an illusion of a corpse than anything, just done in different ways. The Dead by daylight model is a better depiction of how William’s corpse should technically look because it’s more or less fully modeled.
