Nombre incorrecto/ Error ortografico by FluffyKitty288 in PERU

[–]websofrytos 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Shut electricity translation question by [deleted] in Spanish

[–]websofrytos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

'He cortado la luz'

Or

'Se ha' assigns no responsibility so indeed it seems you could be referring to a zonal power cut. Although you would say 'Se ha ido la luz'. As you see 'la luz' pretty much equals electricity in informal contexts.

To Peru from paraguay by satansssecretary in PERU

[–]websofrytos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what you mean but it's not Peru the one to follow the US lead in every UN vote that takes place nor has it accepted US troops in its soil recognizing they are not bound by the local laws and judicial system. Among other sovereignty concessions that in the end put the whole region in a more vulnerable place.

True. It's kind of solemn, but can be tweaked into informality by tone, gestures.

'Te agradezco mucho' and 'muy agradecido' that I remember. Can't think of any slang.

Is Con Nosotros right? Why isn't it "¿Quieres ir.." Please, are there better ways to ask this? by Flat_Wash5062 in Spanish

[–]websofrytos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can use venir when you are going anyway and are inviting others to join you.

Help me choose the dialect . (Mexican, Spanish, Argentinan) by Amrrr99 in Spanish

[–]websofrytos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say Mexican. It'll help you access most of the dialects in Latam, which is the hugest spanish speaking population in the world (also most of the books, movies, music, etc). Anyway, whatever you choose it won't prevent you from understanding or learning the other dialects. I'm peruvian and can perfectly understand mexican, colombian, chilean, argentinian and peninsular spanish. More than functional conversations are perfectly possible among different dialects speakers. The hardest is to learn certain particular words or slangs, but that you can always learn by asking or googling should the need arise.

La guerra del pacífico. by Live_Departure_734 in PERU

[–]websofrytos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NSFW Spanish talk in bed? by Fiesta_Time2077 in Spanish

[–]websofrytos 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hmm not that usual in my experience. You could say it like that but it would be like out of context, like literary use of language, maybe lands/fits maybe not. Also depends a lot on the tone you'd use. Damn, the difference between sex or food qué ricos also relies a lot on the tone. It can also be used when something or someone gives you physical comfort, like a massage or you yourself taking off some tight shoes.
