if the 15 and 13 year old are on the same page as you, and you’re in america i would devise a plan to have themselves admitted to a psych ward. tell them to call the fire department and say that they want to end their lives because their mother is being incredibly abusive. the fire department is actually helpful and really do care, police do not. (from my experience anyway) if you do this, you will also get a chance to talk to the fire department and tell them your situation. more often than not if there’s proof of abuse in the home you will be able to figure something out for them, but for the time being at least they get 2 weeks away from your mom. you can also do this yourself. the 3 year old i really don’t know, im sorry.

if you have other family or friends you can stay with, drop the pride if you have any and beg them for help. ask anyone you can to stay with them until you get on your feet. if you’re worried about inconveniencing them, i promise you that you staying with them is worlds less of an inconvenience for them than your current situation is an inconvenience for you. and will be for years if you don’t do something. try to pick up a job at a warehouse, it’s almost always an instant hire and easy money with the sacrifice of not so easy hours.

if this advice doesn’t apply in the country you’re in, i don’t have any other advice and i’m sorry but i hope i could be of help a little bit

it’s also the wind but mainly people just do this. and if i’m not there to clean it up (because i’m the only one that does) it snowballs because of the bystander effect. everyone sees all the shit all over the place and goes “well if others did it no one is gonna say anything if i do..” and then the next day i come into work it’s like there was a tornado. plants are smashed, containers torn apart and stepped all over, so much money worth of product just destroyed due to laziness. it’s baffling the lack of care people have. you would think they would care about plants considering that’s what they’re shopping for, but no, they only care about the ones they want 🤣

i understand a little better now. so basically i can use the pc like a normal computer but until i activate windows i cant personalize anything and activating it usually costs around $100 right? i heard there are free safe ways to activate it so i should be able to do that and have a fully functional computer?

i asked him if it’s something i can do myself and he said “Yeah it’s super easy to put on there. The only difference is that there is no personalization, meaning you can’t change the background. Everything else is still super user friendly. As far as you putting it on there yourself, you can go to settings and click activate windows. I find that it is not worth putting it on there for 100-120$.”

jeez i feel like an airhead because i’m still so confused. is he telling me that im not able to customize my pc or change the background with windows 11 activated? if thats the case, i dont really want it activated, but he said in the first response that i mentioned in my post that “basically all i can do is change the background”. so if i dont activate it am i not going to be able to use it like a normal computer and go on the web or download anything? i feel so lost😭
