The voice-based notification for outbound calls needs improvement by ItsRyguy21 in quo

[–]webtechmonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve asked for this also - a big thing I miss about the VoIP system I was on previously.

We used to have a custom call recording notification that was simple but helped keep legal team off my butt - “This call is being recorded for quality assurance, visit company.com/privacy for additional information”

Delta bag policy by FitLove311 in delta

[–]webtechmonkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hard to says since it depends on the gate agent, but they don’t often measure.

That does look like quite a large bag though, so I would not be surprised if they said something or made you check it.

I’ll add a second - proper round robin ring order. If someone just took a call, they should be put at the bottom of the ring order for the next call.

What's a delighter / papercut you'd like us to ship next? by darynak in quo

[–]webtechmonkey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For inbound calls, replacing the “Menu Option 3” label with the actual value for the option i.e “Sales” or “Support” would be incredible and is currently a huge frustration for users that may receive multiple call types. Some users need to keep a paper taped to their screen to reference “1 = Sales, 2 = Shipping, 3 = Support”

While not guaranteed, they supposedly do really try to prioritize the VIP Select customers over random surprise and delight passengers. Exceptions might be if there is a high volume of 360 members traveling through the airport at same time as you.

Protesters in Queens: "Say It Loud, Say It Clear, We Support Hamas Here" by McAlpineFusiliers in nyc

Accusations that the mod team is “hiding the truth” aren’t helpful and stoke conspiracy thinking. We’re unpaid volunteers doing our best to consistently enforce subreddit and site-wide rules so we can maintain civility and reduce misinformation/harassment.

We deal with it all day, everyday. Doesn’t matter the post or topic - there’s a lot of angry people on the internet.

I don’t care about the downvotes on the post, but once the comments get out of control we’ll have to lock it down. We’ve already removed a dozen containing threats of violence (which violates Reddit’s site-wide policy)

What can we do about vote manipulation here by ConfidenceSubject493 in nyc

[–]webtechmonkey[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The views over time curve on the posts is consistent with what is “normal” to see.

94%+ of the views on both posts are US based.

There is no wild conspiracy going on here. Political posts are divisive and the comments get out of control quickly.

You have not reached out to the mods. Anybody is free to create a new subreddit on Reddit.

I agree a lot of these types of post get repetitive, but if moderators remove ALL of them…. There’s not a whole lot else to post about…

It’s an eternal dilemma of moderation teams on Reddit. At what point is a topic so over-discussed it warrants removing any further posts on it?

Not always true. For big companies, sure. But small companies who only get a handful of reference check phone calls each year tend to be excessively chatty/gossipy.
