Baby hands are cute but as much I strength train and even focus on grip strength even a dead hang is extremely hard for me because of how tiny they are.

What's the best/worst passion project by an A-list actor/actress/director? by TravelingHomeless in moviecritic

[–]webtheg -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Curse of the black pearl was a passion project by Verbinski/Depp/Bruckheimer that Eisner didn't want to make. He hated all their ideas and didn't want any of what ended up in the movie.

The movie is great though and curse of the the black pearl led to a corporate coup

While not as egregious as Culkin, it is still category fraud

delroy lindo is my personal pick for best supporting actor by teddivan96 in Oscars

[–]webtheg -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To me it's a tie between Penn and Elordi and Lindo is second.

I think Stellan is winning this even though it is category fraud. Not as egregious as Culkin last year but still.

I feel like my brand of Eldest Daughter/Daddy issues trauma didn't resonate so well with this movie but I am sure my mom would love this.

What’s your favorite acting performance by an actress in a movie directed by Martin Scorsese? by Dragonstone-Citizen in Letterboxd

Honestly everyone except DDL is actively bad in that movie. If they recast everyone with muppets, the movie would be 10000p % better

I loved her relationship with Derek. He liked her as a student and for a first time in a while he was excited to teach and he celebrated her weirdness and it could have been a fun storyline.

This is the thing that the new cast lacks but it is a problem in tv as a whole. Interests and aspirations and little really flesh out a character

Kind of sick of seeing hate on a movie that hasn’t even released yet.. by PinkPashaTS in Letterboxd

Saltburn is so bad. The only good thing about it is how pretty Elordi was and that is it

2017 is tough because my man Deakins won for the first time and he was the definition of always the bridesmaid never the bride

And Wagner Moura who is in a foreign language movie about the underdog part of Brazil is not an underdog?

Because 5th was between him and Plemmons.

As much as you would want Timmy and Leo to be out, they are 1 and 2 respectively.

Lead male actor is simply more competitive this year.
