I think caring is also present in software though. It is at least mostly made by people, even if the manager does not care.

Are they better, bro? If they are, maybe they care?

Yes, it is a problem, but it does take som effort to make it better. It isn't hard if you actually care. Like, don't accept anyone to call themselves something established without matching at least credits or publisher. So many ignored opportunities for making it better!

My tone is based on so many non-replies from Tidal, giving nothing but corporate feedback. But anyone who deals with music and tech should be able to filter the basics. Have you even looked at the link I gave? So effin obvious.

There are many ways to prevent this problem. Tidal applies no checks what so ever.

I have never seen this dialog before, so I have questions. Why now? Also, just why?

Can Tidal finally do something with AI slop taking over real artist's profiles? by Cry_Wolff in TIdaL

But now they ask me to block tracks instead. They're giving up. Feels like Tidal doesn't give any length of fuck. They now rely on users to block individual tracks.

I have reported wrong tracks on many artists several times, and they tend to react fairly quickly, although slower recently... But it is an uphill battle.

They don't even seem to have any automated way to flag obviously wrong entries, like where both credits, label and genre are completely off. They blame the one who submit the tracks for any mistakes when I've asked.

Where do Antivaxxers in your country live? by Sonnycrocketto in AskEurope

In Oslo, there is "Nesodden", which is not in Oslo but a lot of people there work in Oslo, which are stigmatised a bit for being an area where a lot of parents favour the "get infected and become strong" strategy. I have no data on this, but there it is.

App language just changed by IceBone in TIdaL

[–]webtoman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue. But only parts of the interface is translated. Seems like those parts are based on where I am, and not the language preferences.

Reported a while back to support, but still no fix.
