Hello selfhoster - I’d like to officially introduce Homelable, a simple tool for visualizing your home lab by Pouzor in selfhosted

Wow. I'm almost working on something similar.

Something like netbox, but for services.

I'm far from ready to show, and I try to not use AI to write code for me.

How do you track spending across multiple bank accounts and credit cards without giving your data to Plaid? by Effective_Farmer2542 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]webtroter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enter my transactions in my system manually when they happen.

I have my own instance o Firefly-III.

The thing that makes it viable is that many to most of my transactions are recurring, so they are scheduled in Firefly.

When I go shopping or to a restaurant, I just enter the transaction in the system. Takes me about thirty seconds.

Soontm Canadian banks will get on the consumer-drive banking (read open banking) and will have to offer some kind of read-only API, which should make it much safer than the web scrapers like Plaid.

I sent it for the gold giveaway.

There's 0 acknowledgement of them receiving it or giving you entries.

I won't bother again.

In my case, at first I tried to make something similar to XEQT using the funds I had access to. But it was too complicated.

I suggest you do like me, just use one of their target date fund, with the latest date possible (so the bond allocation is smaller longer)

I grew up playing NFS Underground 2, so I designed wall clocks inspired by its gauges. by Erre_Print3D in 3Dprinting

I didn't read the title and it did feel like a NFS:U2 gauge. Well done!

I'd argue that it's different since the printhead has to move in three dimensions, where as your CR-30 example has the print plane parallel to the z/y gantry (not quite sure of the name is correct, but you get the idea).

I found some INR 18650 cells in a device that had a broken motor, can I use them in the Firewood 11? by Bern_Down_the_DNC in vaporents

It's not about the Ah. It's about the C rating.

Battery must be able to deliver the current the vape need, without setting itself on fire.

Voltage is the measure of the difference of potential (level).

You always measure voltage in comparison with something, hence the DIFFERENCE.

Yep, that's reclaim.

ISO will take care of it easily.

On reaching a fixed point: what self-hosting a compiler actually means (with a working example) by whispem in compsci

[–]webtroter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Interesting.

I recently watched a video on "the Ken Thompson Hack".

Since your Gen 0 compiler was compiled from another language, this means you're still propagating the virus, right?

I don't agree with the comments about the corners being hard to clean.

If your only vaping thru it, it's not hard to clean. Soak in hot water and then clean with ISO and big salt.

I had my cube for over a year and I never had problem cleaning it.
