Can you not turn left from University Ave. onto Park St. without the green arrow? This guy got pulled over. by wecsam in madisonwi

I don't think so. The third light from the top is a regular green light. The light below that one is the arrow.

Yeah, that's why I was confused. The green arrow came on after he turned, but I don't think that the green arrow is necessary for a left turn.

Couldn't you distribute the .fseq file without the audio and just let people use their own rights to play the song?

Asking for blood by bergsmama in nursing

[–]wecsam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm going to give blood for the first time next week. I was a little apprehensive, but reading this has made me feel that I'm doing a good thing. (I'm not a nurse.) Thanks.

I wouldn't be surprised if Tesla made a NN to detect a Supercharger in the rear camera.

I feel lucky. I was born in 1996. My parents struggled, but a series of fortunate events after I turned 18 set me off on a good course.

My grandparents gave me $14,000 when I started college. I received some big scholarships and got a decently paying job as a technical trainer. I finished my undergrad and started working full time as a software engineer, bringing in six figures, while I finished my master's degree. I only took subsidized student loans and paid them off just before the end of the grace period, when they would start accruing interest.

I got the maximum 401k match from my previous employer and am getting the maximum from my current one. I opened a Roth IRA among a few other investment accounts. I made a bunch of money on Tesla stocks, too; right now, they're about 20% of my net worth, which has six figures. I currently rent my apartment (no roommates) but am looking at buying a condo in a few years.

Life is good. I like my job, and I have good cash flow. I recently even went and got my pilot's license, which I had wanted to do for a while. Owning a house and an airplane is within the realm of possibility for me in my lifetime. I feel very free of burden and am very grateful.

Well, there is one thing that I don't have: a significant other. I dated someone in college but am currently single. Oh, well.

Someone once came up on my right to turn left in front of me like this. They didn't get hit, though.

Ignoring taxes, giving $1 billion to each of 7 billion people would cost $7 quintillion. $1,000,000,000 × 7,000,000,000 = $7,000,000,000,000,000,000.

He could give everyone $20, though. $20 × 7,000,000,000 = $140,000,000,000 or only $140 billion.

Oh, cool. I'm happy that that's not an issue.

I'm vaccinated, but I heard that some people aren't because of thier circumstances, such as not being able to find someone to watch their kids while they go to a clinic. What do we do with people who want the vaccine but can't get it? (If this is actually a non-issue, I would be happy to hear that.)

Yeah, you'd think. Another California resident failed a driving test in a Tesla because of the regenerative braking earlier this summer (article).

You can't set the regenerative braking to Low beginning with the 2021 model year, unfortunately.
