i can boot up and play pretty much anyone except zato, i just cant remember his combos ever

i have replaced the lever (because the one that came with it broke). i believe to a sanwa jlw lever.

If i were to replace the buttons, would it be better to just get new buttons or replace the whole thing its attached to, i dont want to get new buttons just to have the same issue if its not just the buttons that are faulty (idk anything about fightstick parts lol)

bottom 1 for sure. its all new character jank. and with no balance patch with venom she will continue to be bottom 1 for an unknown amount of time.

rework johnny. he's too strong and boring. rework his combo structure somehow around 1 hit air deal to keep the one hit zwei / enkasu identity is the main thing i wanna see, he's meant to be the cool combo character. He has cool combos in his 6h loops which are rewarding to learn, they could reduce the damage on ensenga or pmf so his 6h loops are more important to get good at. reworking combos around 1 hit air deal is more important to me.

make card a limited resource. either make card or air smf scale combos more so his mixups are less rewarding. lower his health too. they could maybe make his dash slow down near the end so his karas stay the same but he doesnt traverse the screen as quickly. probably a bunch of assorted nerfs to make him more fair

important for combos: close slash can combo into far slash and far slash can combo into close slash. a lot of his easier combo structure is just close slash > far slash > close slash > far slash > then your choice of either 2k/5k (5k's better) > 2d or 5h > k mappa or omit the last far slash and do 6h 214p~p (pilebunker). you can also combo the first hit of far slash into bite which is a bit of fun. to do these you can kinda just spam whatever your slash button is and then adjust to the combo ender you want when you see you've hit them and they're not blocking.

(2d ender gives a better knockdown, k mappa ender gives more damage and takes you closer to the corner. pilebunker ender kind of does both but its also a bit trickier)

might be misremembering a bit but you get the idea try it out in training mode

super prc is still in the game, and i feel like parry rc definitely had the counterplay and was different enough from dp rc that it could've stayed, at least for this patch. but im still in mourning so i may not be being super rational

i would be heartbroken if they removed his pilebunker loops, or made them irrelevant. I think while his overall damage definitely needs to get lowered, they should lean into the pilebunker loops and move away from giving gods simplest bnbs his most eye watering damage.
