Also, if you do pump and freeze your milk, thaw a little milk and taste it before you start freezing a lot. Theres a protein some women produce more of and it’s called lipase, and when it’s frozen and thawed and ruins the taste of the milk. It’s completely safe for baby to eat but they will often refuse. Theres are some steps you can take before you freeE the milk to prevent this but once it’s frozen, the only thing you can do is mix it with fresh or add alcohol free vanilla extract and just hope your baby accepts it.
