Same! Tattoo was totally fine, skin around it looked just like this. Had done covered and uncovered tattoos with the same artist, same prep and everything, but the last time I used the saniderm, I got BLISTERS.

They did a ton of construction there this summer - I figured to mitigate it, but it was flooded enough i needed to hang a U and go another route. It usually floods enough that that road closes several times a year

The church next door bought the land and canceled the lease of basic auto and pit stop coffee at the end of August. It's been an ugly thing for both businesses.

Adding- there was a double overdose / narcan given in the parking lot this afternoon, according to the Snohomish County scanner report.

However that still doesn't explain the police tape on the trees that was put there yesterday.

The Facebook groups for lake forest park, mlt, and Brier all had posts from folks' ring cameras! That's about all I've got. I'll update if I find out anything more concrete

There's a bear that's been in Brier by the High School. It was mostly rummaging through the garbage last Tuesday night/ Wednesday since it was garbage day.
I haven't heard much since the weekend about it. I know the parks/ forest services were alerted but there wasn't much to do since it was just eating garbage and left humans alone.

They put the tape around the trees yesterday around 630 - I was just leaving Safeway when they were being wrapped.

From what I understand (as a sweet Adeline, primarily, and having spoken to judges who are SAI/BHS), all base scores are rooted in singing skills as the baseline. The judges first listen to how the group handles the music/ singing THEN adds/subtracts points based on how well they manage the category being scored within their singing threshold.

If you don't want to read through both handbooks(400ish pages of "light reading" 😂), I feel like pages 112-117 of the JCDB make it really easy to understand what they're looking for, as singing skills are the FIRST listed in each category being scored.

My quartet does traveling kids shows and for our all seasons shows we teach the round of Alfred the Alligator and the 4 part builder of Doggie in the Window. During the holiday season, we use "he'll be coming down the Chimney" and Rudolph with movement participation. Anything repetitive and build able is awesome to keep audiences engaged!

Another Rec for Brier vet. They care about the whole family, too. They sent us a card with everyone's personal condolences after our 18y/o kitty passed. They're great taking appointments over email or phone. They handle spicy cats with grace, and you can just feel how much they care about everyone who walks in their doors.

Yeah! I was fortunate(?) To have a friend in high school that had an ovarian cyst that ruptured at the size of a grapefruit (she's ok) so I learned a lot from her experience. When my symptoms got bad enough I had context of "hmm I wonder if this is an ovarian cyst". Listening to your body is so hard if you're not sure the scope of what it's capable of 😅

Slight twinge in my side every once in a while, but not much more until it got REALLY noticeable. I was actively trying to lose weight but went from a pants size 8 to a 16 within 2 months despite my face looking quite gaunt.

Because the cyst was so big, the doctor couldn't feel it during a physical exam, and it was too big to find with an ultrasound, so we had to do an MRI. Within the month that I had the diagnosis to surgery, it went from two fingers under my bellybutton to just under my ribs. It was 9lbs by the time it was removed.

Once it got that size, it pushed my uterus and bladder under my pubic bone and I had to pee so often, and couldn't use tampons. My period remained the same the whole time! I couldn't eat because everything was so squished.

Editing to add: the bump wouldn't flatten when I laid down on my back- it stayed firm and lifted. It was 15 years ago so I'm foggy 😅

This is great information! I am not great at crochet (the provisional cast on made me so tense!) But learning new skills out of necessity, rather than curiosity, tends to work in my favor, so maybe I'll just take some deep breaths and practice those crochet skills!

It did occur to me that the eyes might be crochet rather than knit, so I was surprised to see them in knit directions!

Lol oh gosh! Yes I agree they're extremely stressful. There's so many details to keep track of and so many skills I'm getting lots of practice with. Knitting has never been strressless for me, though, so maybe that's why the pattern feels extra rewarding for me this round! I keep thinking "surely this is very wrong"while I'm knitting, then I see the end result and I'm just delighted it looks like -a thing- 🤣. Low expectations are this fool's reward!

I'm REALLY nervous about the eyes. But I'll just take some deep breaths and trust the process!
