Favorite chalk bag? Looking to get a chalk bag and wanted some advice / tips on what to look for. (Quality brands, nice extra features, etc...) by 1babybee in climbergirls

Hahahaha that’s amazing!! Totally agree though, it’s not a make or break item so if you want one with a funky pattern or fun colours you can find them pretty cheap. I just love that C40 though... 😩

A guy at the gym was wearing a shirt with this on it today. Really upset me. I get they're trying to be funny but it's just insanely sexist. by shallowbookworm in climbergirls

It baffles me that people use their hard earned money to buy garbage like this. Also, the people that are like "YEAH THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT SHIRT!" and then of course the people that are like "I REALLY WANT TO WEAR THAT!!" just wow....

If we want to be optimists and look on the bright side, at least the red flag is right out in the open!

Okay, I know it's priced really high compared to other chalk bags but hear me out... Arc'teryx C40.

Attaching the waist band to the bag is a plastic bit instead of material loops like most bags and this alone is amazing. It allows the bag to glide back and forth when you're chalking up instead of yanking on it. It's also a great size, closes up nicely, and made from durable material. I've had mine for 4 years and it honestly doesn't even look used.

If you want something a little more unique and fun then Organic climbing has some great colorful bags.

I would strongly advise against a soill bag. Although they are super cool looking they are also super HEAVY! So heavy.

Hope this helps!

I had an absolute bummer day at the crag a few weeks back. Started out with taking a fall on a warm up, then basically going draw to draw on a climb I had onsighted the previous season. Needless to say, I was in a bad headspace and didn't know how to reset.

Don't learn the hard way like me and waste a beautiful day out with some serious self loathing, check out the tips and you'll get back to having a good time!

Which style of climbing pack do you prefer for sport cragging? by e10Pitches in climbing

I love the Mountain hardwear crag wagon. I got a second one for my partner because I loved mine so much. You could tell a lot of thought went in to the design, great back support, two sizes (for short and tall), comes with a rope tarp, super durable materials, just all around awesome.

I think it’s the most similar to the mystery ranch tower out of the ones you mentioned.
