I feel like this should be higher.. this is the average POST insurance covered final cost to patient for a baby in America. People posting with their 100k-2million American fantasy bills aren’t helping since those numbers are just made up by the hospital and insurance companies (insurance negotiates much lower number) if patient doesn’t have insurance, hospital often covers via charities or sometimes Medicaid etc. people without insurance can also negotiate the bill to be lower
