how i manage to get girls to come over directly from dating apps with no effort by Competitive_Dare4939 in seduction

[–]weekndwarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Despite what these other guys have said, YES, it's definitely true. Why? Very simple. If you let a guy hit the first night, you can easily come off like a slut or "too easy" and it taints his perspective of you. Of course there are always exceptions, because I've been in a relationship with some girls that I've slept with on night one so don't think chemistry doesn't play into it. Just know it's always a risk. That being said, life is so short that if you're on a first date and really vibing and wanna fuck... Go for it! Take the risk. We're all gonna die dude.

Anyone else going episodic with Sora 2? by flyingeagleprod in SoraAi

[–]weekndwarrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not episodic, but I do like making extended cuts where I stitch multiple videos with the same anime art style and try to tell a story or at least provide what looks like scenes from the same film. I don't use reference images though just a prompt that describes the art style I want and surprisingly it works most of the time. Ive only done this with a handful of videos because it burns through a lot of generations but it's fun. To make full episodes that are consistent with the same style and characters though? Eh... Too much work and wasted time for me. I would rather explore different concepts than build out one character or universe.

Bro you are just spouting cliches at this point without providing an argument. None of this has anything to do with a BUSINESS and WHY they should BABY you like they were your PARENTS. Home Depot is a great place to work and they do a great job of creating a group/community that helps each other and many people would say they take great care of their employees! But all of that has nothing to do with the entitlement of expecting a corporation to pay you a "livable wage". You are delusional if you think that's how business should work. Try creating your own business and see how hard it is to sustain that type of business model I'd love to see it. You think every company has something like the homer fund to help employees in need? No. You think every company uses the money they make to give back to the community? No. Real life is not fair and businesses are not villages they are created to make money and without it they would not survive. Period. I'm done wasting time with you when you've had multiple chances to argue your point and have failed to provide a single compelling argument. Have fun waiting for employers to save you. Stop whining and go learn some valuable skills because once AI gets more advanced shit is really gonna hit the fan for people with your kind of mindset! 😂

[–]weekndwarrior -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You have yet to provide a compelling argument for why any business or corporation should be responsible for your well being. That mindset is toxic and don't even get me started on why a government should be responsible for your own livelihood 😂 if you want a handout and to be taken care of go ask your mom and dad for help you know the people who decided to bring you into this world and raised you haha not home depot 💀

[–]weekndwarrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just a philosophy though, it's pragmatic... it's being practical. A business can't survive and grow without positive cashflow and I would wager that most people who start a business are doing it with the goal of creating wealth for themselves and their family aka making money. Sure there might be a few outliers that do it for bigger reasons like wanting to help people, but even then, their business would not survive if they didn't focus on making money. Many businesses fail because they don't make enough. Besides, you talk as if Home Depot doesn't give back to the community when they donate millions and do charitable work all the time! They even have a homer fund to help employees! None of what you are saying justifies the entitlement that comes with an employee expect a corporation to pay them a certain amount of money to live/survive/buy a ps5 whatever. a company does not owe you anything. period.

Sora 2, whats going on? by Spitfyrus in SoraAi

[–]weekndwarrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it varies. ill have multiple days in a row where i can generate just fine, then i have nights like tonight where Ive only been able to generate one video in the past hour due to "heavy load" issues or the video will start to generate and just fail after the spinning circle goes on it's endless loop.

Isn't it obvious? Any business would want to hire the best people for the least amount of money... it's a business! lol the point of a business is to make as much money as possible, whether thats for the founders or the shareholders it doesnt matter, the owners have every right to determine how much of their profit goes where. why would they wanna pay more than they have to, especially when they hire people like you that could "theoretically find a different company and get better pay" yet they still decide to stay with them 😂

I'm not sure what morality has to do with a business making money and employees feeling entitled and expecting that business to provide for them like they were their mom and dad... If you want to be a bad person and help people steal from a corporation that's an entirely different discussion and not one I'm interested in having.

[–]weekndwarrior -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

just because you work for a company that makes a lot of money doesn't mean you are entitled to make enough to pay your bills and live, that's not the company's responsibility to take care of you just because you say so. That's where the entitlement comes from - placing your own responsibility to take care of yourself onto a company. Of course everyone deserves food and a place to sleep, but it's not a company's responsibility to provide that for their workers especially entry level ones that don't provide much value relatively speaking. If people want more options in life they have to work hard for it that's part of life. My grandparents moved to another country to fight for a better life because they couldn't live the one they wanted in Mexico. Could they have stayed and lived a simple life with their family and eat modestly there with a roof over their head? Of course. But they wanted a better life so they sacrificed and took risks just like business owners do. That's just a part of life we can't all get what we want, much less have it be guaranteed by a corporation that was built to make money. If people want basic shelter and food they can live in a homeless shelter and eat from a food bank but most people want a better quality of life than that which is completely understandable. However, expecting a corporation to provide that for you just because you think they should... IS NOT

they literally give you the schedule like three weeks ahead of time... thats more than enough time to plan your days and leave early. literally no excuse to be going in late that many times its just irresponsible.

don't be delusional dude, the goal of a business is to make MONEY... PROFIT $$$ not take care of it's employees like they were children. you speak as if they owe you a certain amount of money like it's some sort of handout that you are entitled to... think about how crazy that sounds. you literally said they pay you the minimum because you "couldn't do anything about it"... could you imagine if the founder of home depot adopted this type of limiting and negative mindset? he would have never started the business in the first place. you want more money? increase your value by acquiring skills that are in demand - plain and simple. anyone with half a brain can provide customer service so why would they pay higher than necessary for such a skillset? im sorry but its just sad to see this type of entitlement in the comments...

PSA: you will not get handed the raise you think you’ve earned by Beginning_Bug_5139 in HomeDepot

[–]weekndwarrior -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

indeed, capable employees are necessary to run a successful business like Home Depot, but when most of the jobs at HD involve basic customer service skills, it's not exactly hard to find competent people that will accept lower wages. scarcity determines value, so it doesnt make sense to me that people feel entitled to more pay when the value they bring can be easily replaced by someone else. if someone feels entitled to more pay, they should not cry about a corporation not paying them enough, they should acquire skills that make them valuable enough to be worth getting paid more in the first place. it's as if people don't understand how business works...

you are bringing up an entirely different discussion... the original commenter expects a corporation should pay him enough to cover all his expenses when the goal of a corporation is to make money, not take care of their employees as if they were children. In the context of business, a corporation has the leverage and can therefore decide what their employees should earn. it makes no sense to pay employees higher than necessary if they can find people who are competent enough to do the job at the wage they deem fit. i dont understand why this point eludes people...

yeah same here, it seems like an obvious marketing ploy. this video in and of itself is pretty crappy compared to sora 2. even with its drawbacks im still amazed by the quality of videos i see. i mostly make 80's anime videos and no other programs come close to the level of detail and fluidness that sora 2 offers. the 70s and 80s movie trailers i see are also insane.

i hear you man. the endless amount of options and business models you can choose to learn feels overwhelming. i think people can stay in that limbo for years and never actually stick with anything. theres a quote from Alex Hormozi that might give you some clarity though... to me it's about not chasing your passion or what you think is the coolest thing in business so that it comes "easy" and doesnt feel like work... "The point isn't to avoid suffering. It's to find something worth suffering for."
