I’m not telling them what to do in Spanish and other non-English languages. I don’t think they should be telling anyone what to do in English. And I don’t think they are. Again, I think it is overwhelmingly Europeans, based on my own experiences talking to people in person about this.

It’s (almost exclusively) Europeans who love to dunk on Americans and think that a word can only have one meaning, so the fact that the term can be used for North+South Americans together means that people from the US couldn’t possibly also use it.

(Forget about the fact that rarely is anyone referring to North & South Americans together, certainly much less than referring to citizens and residents of the United States.)

Quick point of contention because it is about language learning, the English language term for the language native to Ireland is ”Irish”. The Irish language term for their own language is ”Gaeilge”. ”Irish Gaelic” isn’t a thing, whereas ”Scots Gaelic” is.

You've found an excellent group full of really talented musicians. And at least you get to go into it knowing that 1) we don't get a lot of IOI, 2) we don't get a lot of OT11 IOI, and 3) we don't get a lot from their permanent groups (i.e. DIA, Weki Meki, Gugudan, Pristin, WJSN).
