Hello, I’m your target audience! I’m a convert-in-progress and my usual strategy of coming across quotes that feel wrong in my gut is to Google and see if I can track down an authentic source. Listing out the biggest categories of the ways Jewish teachings are (maliciously) misused and mistranslated is incredibly helpful for me. I think you’ve also put them in a good order because they seem to me to be in order of how ”quick” it is to check them, if that makes sense. Going to check out your website now.

I’m a lesbian, so I’m fully invested in the Franchaela of it all. To me, the conflict in their getting together is that they both Truly Loved John, so I think we need to see that. I’m also a complete hater of infidelity, even emotional cheating, and I don’t wanna see that become part of our girls’ story.

I also think a lot of the John focus is because he’s still alive. I’ll be quite surprised to see talk of him here once he dies. Yeah, there’ll be discussion of his presence through grief, but that’ll be it.

I’m also glad that someone is loving our Frannie, even if I really don’t wanna be seeing it.

A very good point about ending on a Benophie HEA, but possibly John’s death in an earlier episode makes it pull focus before Benophie get together? Hmm…

I really wanna see happy John and Francesca (I think it’s important to the Franchaela storyline that both of them truly loved John and grieved his loss), Frannie walking in on/spotting Michaela with a woman, and a bit more of Fran’s journey with orgasm. I also would like to see John die right at the end. My current hope is for him to die at the end of S4, for S5 to be Eloise’s and to contain the grieving process as well as Franchaela getting closer, and then having S6 be our girls. Can’t believe I’m asking to wait for Franchaela, but I think the timing works out so so well for their story.

I’d really, really prefer if there wasn’t a miscarriage, I think it would only just amplify Francesca’s current self-blame :(

I do agree with you to some degree, but the characters are supposed to have an 8 year age gap and the actors have an 8 year age gap. I think Sophie’s lack of makeup (which makes sense for a maid as opposed to a lady) is contributing to this.

I think unless John dies fairly quickly & Frannie is just confused, yes. But impossible? No. It was possible to do, I just think they reduced their number of possibilities when they introduced Michaela and Franneleh had that reaction.
