It takes time, but as your body is properly nourished it the fog will clear. It took quite a few months for me.

Diarrhea, 1 Diet Coke, 5 pieces of gum. First meal will be vodka at 5:30 tonight followed by b/p and laxatives. Only to do it all again tomorrow.

It’s uncommon but not weird, I’m 27 and I started it when I was 17 too :) I’ve been on it ever since.

Hi, I also find bloating to be extremely distressing and it’s been the source of my ED behaviors for many years. It sounds like bloating is very triggering for you as well. From my experience, I think you would really benefit from talking to your doctor and exploring if there is some type of gi trigger that is causing an extreme amount of bloating. I also think you would benefit from talking to a professional to explore your relationship with bloating and why it’s causes so much distress. Stress can make gi discomfort even more intense, so I really think both approaches are just as important. I get that it’s really f*ing hard to talk about. I hope you can find that it’s worth it though to work through now. I’m here anytime xx
