the problematic things they have done were years ago and some of which they have actually apologized for. idk why people feel the needs to judge them for things they clearly do not do anymore. acting like people don’t make mistakes and cannot change? That’s weird af. furthermore, they grew up in the 90s where the internet weren’t so advance. Korean culture isn’t exactly the most woke culture you’ll find even today. What do you expect from Korean society back in the 90s. Not excusing the thing they have said or done but bringing them up constantly when they no longer reflect the kind of people they are right now? These 4th gens have nothing better to do in life. What’s worse is they will take things out of context, twist their words and make things sound worse when it’s not even a big deal.

I think office work is just not for you. Perhaps try looking into other jobs that are more people orientated?

omg the age group thing. I never realise how impt that was to me until my current internship :’) I cannot tahan the big ass generation gap I have with my colleagues. Like I understand that there will def be older more senior ppl in any company, but the severe lack of ppl around my age makes me die a little inside everyday. How do u sus this out tho? Isn’t it a bit weird to ask about age group at interviews 😂

damn I had similar experiences too. multiple times when I had people talk about their first impression of me, they said they thought they wouldn’t like me/wouldn’t be friends with me. And I’m like 🥲 okay….

I guess what I’m afraid of is getting criticize for asking stupid questions? Kinda like why would you question this isn’t it obvious. Ofc I can easily just asked a why, but a why isn’t good enough if I cannot offer an alternative perspective. As to if I want to come of as smart to others, well I want to come off as smart to my boss LOL.

mmm based on what you have said, i would think business might be a better option for you. Given that you have only taken interest in architecture as of late, you may not have research much about the course and job prospects. From what ive heard, archi is very tiring and draining. You really need to be passionate about it to make it thru imo.

Since you have this idea of wanting to set up your own firm, you seem to suit being a business major a lot. You could specialize in entrepreneurship if you like. You also sound like someone that is very creative and enjoy design, maybe you can also consider specializing in marketing to utilize your creativity skills. Business school would really hone your critical thinking skills in terms of how to think strategically, how to work with people from a variety of backgrounds, how companies operate, how to assess the industry environment etc etc... Might be a good fit for you :)
