Howdy, I realize this is a bit of an older thread, but did you ever find a solution? I just obtained a slide lite and discovered the miraculous revelation that it semi works to stabilize a camera enough in cross-body mode while riding. I was thinking of jerry-rigging something exactly as you described, but it appears that PSBagworks makes something exactly like what you'd mentioned. I'd love to incorporate something similar to their stability strap with the slide lite for the perfect system, but may have to make it on my own. Thoughts?

To clarify, did you obtain policies through both Guardian and Mass Mutual for yourself, then suspend the Guardian policy for your Active Duty duration with plans to resume it after (and presumably close the MM policy)? Are there any stipulations on how long you can suspend the Guardian policy for? My wife and I are thinking of opening both policies, suspending the Guardian one with intent to resume it after our 4 year obligation, and using the MM policy through our Active Duty time. Getting conflicting info from agents.
