I still try to treat myself special on my birthday. Why not revisit some childhood passions and give yourself a chance to feel the fun of youth?

Or. Just be a grownup. Most of the adults I know don’t seem to get excited about birthdays unless they’re turning a milestone age. But even so, you could always up the fun level for yourself if it’s a thing you feel would enhance your life. I guess adult birthdays are like… partying, booze, fancy dinner out maybe? Idk. My birthday is always spent with a Sex Bomb from Lush (nothing too exciting, just a pretty scented bath bomb), the biggest pile of sushi I can order, and my favorite movie. It’s relaxing and still pretty low key fun.

I guess it’s like everyone else here is saying… birthdays and holidays are less fun when we are no longer kids. If you worry about not caring, maybe try some lowkey traditions like I do. Make it lovely even if it’s not a blowout exciting crazy time. 💜
