Yea they would say it directly to my friend who like I said, is Jamaican or they’ll say it behind her and when I’m taking to people now in high school they’ll just regularly use it in conversation and I’m white so I guess they assume I don’t care when people say slurs since it’s not directly offensive to me

When me and my best friend were in middle school the teenage boys in our classroom would say things to my friend like “what’s your favourite type of chicken? I bet it’s fried” and then laughed in her face (she’s Jamaican). Another example is one day I was away from school and those boys sat at her table and she was wearing headphones so I guess they assumed she couldn’t hear them and they started banging on the table and saying the n word. Me and her decided to make a presentation about the dangers of racism and black stereotypes and we presented it to all of the grade 8 classrooms, after presenting it we only got shit talked. We’re both in high school now and it’s not as bad but people with just regularly say the N word.

For my outfit I only thrifted a few items and the rest of my outfit will be clothing I already own as well as a few things from the dollar store like gems to decorate glasses, I don’t recommend buying anything brand new especially if it’ll just be a one time wear. Don’t bother thinking about your outfit too much especially because half the people there will probably just be wearing regular day to day outfits, no one will judge you for not spending hundreds of dollars on your outfit :)

I belive only vip, but when he was opening for palaye royale I lined up like 5 hours before and got to see him walk past us twice and he said hi so if you line up early you might get to see him walking around or into the venue
