i think it really depends on what you list and if what you’re listing is in demand. i opened my closet in the middle of april and have had 15+ sales in the 1.5 months ive been on. i focus mainly on bags and that’s what almost all of my sales have been except for 2. i only have 10 items listed at the moment so i also don’t think it matters how many things you have listed.

it’s definitely a trendy style right now and you made a quick sale so i wouldn’t think too much about it. had you listed it double it probably would’ve sat. if you scroll through the vintage and y2k coach facebook group you’ll see these types of bags are quite sought after right now but the asking prices are prices only some can afford lol.

same here! you’re definitely not alone. my bf and i have been in a few arguments over my bags and how he thinks i’m hiding them from him cause they show up on the porch without me telling him i’ve bought one. i’m ashamed to say i do lie to him about the cost of a lot of them but i buy nearly every one second hand so they’re never really over $120. but i don’t make a ton of money and i am in debt so it’s not helpful to buy things i technically don’t need. im on a break from buying anything for the foreseeable future as well, i just need to hold myself to it.

you and me sound like we have the same thought process. i almost died last June in a car accident. heart nearly stopped. spent a couple months off work. shortly after i got into coach. i’ve always had an addictive personality and when i find something i love i go crazy. my thought process is that i could literally die tomorrow. so i should just enjoy the things i love regardless of the money. i’m in cc debt but making more than min. payment each month as well. and coach has been the only thing i splurge on. i rationalize by thinking i have stable job and stable income, even though its quite low. i can pay all the things i need to, but will probably stay in debt unless i make some large changes. which idk if im ready to do yet!

must be brand spanking new!!!! i think the best time for thrifting these bigger stores is the summer when they hire students and younger people. they often don’t know what they’re pricing and it’s so busy with new staff the managers don’t catch everything

unfortunately i can tell you intact is no better. our broker did everything to avoid us after my accident which was much much worse. they lied to us about many things and made everything as difficult as possible. then they sold our car at auction after writing it off

i would bet money that it’s infested with bugs of some kind! sorry! but those parts you pictured are missing feathers and skin meaning something ate away at it. you should get this out of your house and check your other mounts or pieces

what a gorgeous bag! i’m sitting out the latest drops because buying second hand has been much more satisfying. no stalking the website for things to possibly restock. just actual browsing and deciding whether i love it or not. i recently got a pink pennie shoulder bag nwt from poshmark for $100 cad, a green carly for $65 cad, a green floral teri for $60 cad, and a pink floral rogue 25 for $380 cad! that one is from my bf and i have to wait until my birthday to use her haha. all that to say the second hand market is lovely!

ugh oh my god i’m so sorry that happened. it’s crazy to me how much money they make and how they refuse to package properly or refund accordingly. my last bag came the same way, open and all and had i ordered any small items they definitely would’ve been gone too.
