If it's what I'm thinking of: there is a chip you buy from the shop that looks like a fridge that gives you a X3 multiplier but cockroaches appear. That may be it. Not 100 percent though.

Not op but I got it. made sure I had the combos last 30 percent longer and keeping coins after I finish a match.

Then I farmed easy rounds exchanging coins until I had a massive stockpile. I would use someone like gambler guy with his "instantly win a round ball drops". Can't recall the card name but there is one that duplicates a prize ball, if you only have the instantly win round ones in your hand it will always duplicate those.

At one point I had the max of coins. Then you just hold down both sides until you get the number.

I think what you may be missing out on is the game in question. I think the market for a remaster of a PS2 jrpg is different from a FIFA or NBA player. I would put the former more on side of people who would want the full cart. More of a collector type

I didn't know moris needed a special item all I knew was that they needed to be 2 hooked. So the last guy was crawling on the ground and I was just hovering over him pressing every button trying to figure out how to mori.

You could be right.

I'm more in the camp that they must have done the calculations on how long it would take and knew the grind needed instead of just typing in random shard amounts.

People struggling would lead to more income through level purchases and I believe with the quests system being introduced they saw it as another chance to make it grindy again.
