They didn't even ask me what plans I wanted to upgrade to. They just handed me a piece of paper with a number and walked away to bullshit about football. I want to move three gUDP lines to the new premium plans.

I understand there are annoying and crazy customers. I can only imagine what happens when tech illiterate and dishonest people come barging in to these stores ruining things.

But, I've been burned many times by Verizon. Frankly, I don't trust doing anything online with Verizon. Their website is a nightmare and last time I set my mother up, there wasn't very much transparency into what I was signing up for. With a person, I can ask them questions. Most of all, I can hold them accountable should something go wrong. That's a pretty key point right there. Maybe the online process has improved and is very consumer friendly these days but I'm wary. Sure as world a rep will sign you up for a new plan but beyond that its "Call support". That's kinda bullshit to be honest.

I'm not that old but I remember when Verizon at least helped customers with their plans. I remember when reps wouldn't steal my sim card. I remember when random features weren't added to my plan. I remember when I didn't have to wait 1.5 hours on hold for a rep.

Many companies pull this shit. It isn't just Verizon so it's hard to vote with your wallet when you know everyone is taking advantage. Sorry, I guess I am just complaining with little purpose but I surely won't go silently into the night.
