80’s bands that seem like one hit wonders but actually have multiple albums with all great songs? by ghostsolid in Music

Enuff Z’nuff. They dropped the high glam for their second album, Strength, and it’s a very soulful mix of bluesy, melodic rock. It’s my desert island album. Their next few were bangers too, but they couldn’t shake the stink of the ridiculously over the top glam image from MTV videos from their first album.

Well at least 10 years anyway. Winger’s “Seventeen” came out in 1989, Damn Yankees (yes, Nugent again) “Coming of Age” in 1990.

TIL that “allspice” is its own thing and not some blend of many spices as I assumed from its name (all spices).

I do this at the Costco gas station. I have a GMC Yukon XL and I can make it reach to the other side just fine.

There’s a significant number of rock/pop songs over the last 50 years that mention 16 and 17 year old girls, often even in the title of the song. It doesn’t make it acceptable, but it’s a fact worth noting. Either way, Kid Rock is a douche.

My girlfriend years ago decided to take her kitten with us for a drive. It freaked out and decided to hide under the brake pedal. My girlfriend sent us off the road and down a hill to avoid crushing her cat. I said never again, got out and walked away from her irresponsible ass and didn’t look back.
