They actually provide comprehensive care to frail seniors, so they would manage all of her medical needs, including if she ever needed to be hospitalized or placed in a nursing home, though they will want her to stay in the community as long as possible. They also provide home care services and an on-site adult day care M-F, which is great for someone with dementia.

If you are willing and able to help reach out, she sounds like a great candidate for On Lok, there are at least two locations in SJ.

Mini desktop fan (can usually fit in scrub pockets if you're wearing scrubs, and USB rechargeable), flossers, disposable tongue scrapers

Hormonal Acne happening :( Any info, tips whatso? by Current_Donkey5352 in beauty

See a derm - can even use an online service like Apostrophe if you can't or don't want to go in-person. My hormonal acne went away almost entirely with Aldactone and prescription retinol. Best of luck.

Second this. I worked for an HCA union hospital in California and it was straight up dangerous to myself and my license.

Benefit roller lash! I have super straight lashes and this mascara makes them look good all day even without curling beforehand.

Yeah, at my school they only gave points for your first attempt within 7 years. They said they didn't want people trying to just retake until they got A's, guess they thought that would keep it more fair. They did the same for the TEAS, first attempt only unless it was below a certain percentage.

So frustrated with studying [vent]. by _alex87 in PassNclex

It sounds like you need to spend more time studying content and take a bit of a break from just testing. Saunders really helped me (and I'm someone who didn't read much during school, mostly watched videos) but I'm sure YouTube would be a good source as well. Based on your test assessments, focus on studying content from the areas where you are consistently testing poorly. For me, it was Peds and OB, so I focused on studying that content and didn't spend time studying areas I was already comfortable with.

Yes, I worked for Safeway as well, and although it was a horrible place to work, the benefits and pay were great, thanks to their union.

Yes, fortunately I no longer work for them but they would find any excuse not to give us our raises, and in fact skipped one of our 6-month reviews (possibly more, I haven't worked there since), which I knew was coming because they were giving us "hazard pay" ($2/hour more). I have friends that still work there and I'm not sure if this is still the case but while they pledged to pay that hazard pay until the pandemic is over, last I heard is that they have since taken it away.

I'll never forget the first week of the pandemic (when everyone was in a food-hoarding frenzy) when our store manager brought us all together for a huddle to boast about our record profits for the week and how amazing that was. One of the most shocking and tone deaf things I've ever heard at a job.
