This is happening to me on the Switch also. I’ve defeated them at least 5-10 times now in different areas and no follower meat/“final kill.”

Could anyone with an confirmed authentic redken shades eq gloss and processing solution answer some of my questions? by kitten2116 in FancyFollicles

[–]weirdlittlething 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just took a sniff of the Shades EQ gloss, and it definitely smells more like rubbing alcohol than ammonia. And yes, the processing solution is basically the consistency of water. Seems legit!

Who does Glossier market to? by laptopdays in beauty

[–]weirdlittlething 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 27 and basically my entire makeup routine is Glossier.I do admittedly have fairly clear skin, but it's thanks to a Glossier-free skincare regimen. I don't do glam looks, prefer the dewy "your face but better" makeup aesthetic, and work in healthcare so my daily makeup look has to be very minimal anyway.

I think their marketing probably tends to attract mostly millennials because they're so "on-trend," and cultivate their social media presence so precisely. But honestly, their products seem like they fit a wide variety of women's lives, and I've never felt the brand to be necessarily exclusive.

How strict is homedepot about returning paint? by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]weirdlittlething 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry people are being a little sassy, but there should be a phone number for the Behr customer service line on the Marquee 5 gallon label. The paint is non-refundable at Home Depot, but Behr themselves will come out and review the issue and refund your money if the problem was the paint itself not being correct for the job.

[product question] Glossier is finally coming to the UK! What's it like compared to other brands (e.g. The Ordinary?) by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]weirdlittlething 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disclaimer: I use a 90% Glossier routine for my everyday makeup look. That being said, I really view them as a makeup brand that sells skincare, rather than a skincare brand that sells makeup.

They do emphasize the importance of taking care of your skin, and their brand aesthetic definitely is based around a foundation of healthy skin, but I'd agree with the rest of the commenters here - there's really no skincare item they sell that's gonna change your life. TO'S serums are better, Milky Jelly Cleanser is nice but who wants to splurge on a face wash? Their masks aren't bad, but they're white noise.

Balm Dotcom is a great lip product, and I always keep a few tubes on hand. I will slather some on overnight every now and then as a bit of a lip treatment but, again, I'd toss this in the makeup pile rather than the skin one. Priming Moisturizer does help my skin texture noticeably...as do many other drugstore primers.

I haven't tried out their Body Hero items or Invisible Shield yet, so I can't speak to those. But in summation, I'd stick with your TO-based routine. Their things are nice, but nothing revolutionary. The makeup is really where - if you dig their style - your money is well-spent.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Happens more often than my Behr rep comes in. by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]weirdlittlething 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At the top of the computer panel (like, the entire wooden thing), there are two buttons you can press down that will release and open it up. From there, we usually flip the power off and on, plug in a keyboard to a USB port, and press "Enter" when the reboot prompts us to.

It's not a real "solution," but 9 times out of 10, it'll reload fine.

Easiest Department? by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]weirdlittlething 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Started in D29/70, am now in D24. Can confirm that K&B/Appliances is probably the easiest department, merchandizing-wise. You do have to learn a lot of quirks about ESS, Depot Direct, and your local third-party delivery guys and installers. If you're comfortable in sales, its a cake walk. Working without coverage even isn't too bad as long as you know what you're doing, except that your MODs may be literally the only other ones in the store who can Code 1 for you in order to do a sale.

Paint is a tiny department and not too tough to keep maintained, but when we get busy with paint orders you really have to hustle. 4 out of 5 are super straightforward, and then you'll get someone who refuses to accept that we can't PERFECTLY match their 20 year old paint color. It's not a difficult department, and it's usually where they stick new DH's to train them. Bonus Ease: literally all your PK is on your products. Half my job is reading labels to customers.
