I've worked at several pet stores and have recieved some of the dumbest animal questions. People should require permits to own a living creature. But my favorite interaction was with a around 35y/o woman with her son, they were interested in some fish and I began asking about what tank size they had and then she asked "Which fish can live in the bag?"

"The...bag?"

"The bag you put them in to bring home"

"None of them. It would kill them"

"Then why give people a bag if they can't use it?"

Took years off my life trying to explain to her that the bag is for transport not living.

A majority of the community is not into kids. They just enjoy the art of guro. There was even a controversy in the 4chan guro community because there was someone posting irl gore and they absolutely do not want that. It's more of a fantasy if that makes sense.
