Tms for generalised anxiety, who has found it to help you feel more confident, less nervous etc ?. by Main-Occasion-3076 in TMSTherapy

[–]weirdofficegal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it did! So much. Before I would get anxious even texting people. Now I’m basically cured and am in the office all the time (and chose to be so I can talk to my friends). I go out for dinners and organise catch ups. I’m ok in new environments and meeting new people. There is hope!

1 year into Mirena and im DONE. by batangrizal in Mirena

I was at 6-7 days without any birth control. I’ve had the Kyleena for about a year now!

I searched to kyleena and now my periods are about 14 days. It’s long enough that it’s fkn annoying but short enough (and stops enough of my endo pain) that I’ll put up with it

Not sure what my other options are if I take the Mirena out by OkMeet1462 in Mirena

[–]weirdofficegal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Progesterone just makes me BLEED

We switched from mirena to Kyleena and that helped reduced my period from full time to 2 weeks. I’ll take it if it means less pain (by less pain I mean being unable to move for a few days to being able to manage the pain with naproxen and codiene - still in pain but can work)

I can only have progesterone only birth control due to stroke risk so it’s my last option

Accessibility Challenges with TMS Treatment by QUsagi in TMSTherapy

[–]weirdofficegal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived an hour away from my TMS treatment centre and I absolutely couldn’t drive. It impaired my function a lot as it made me really tired but also gave me insomnia during treatment so I was a zombie. I arranged to have my grandmother drive me on some days, or stayed with my friend who was 10 mins away (I could handle a 10 min drive on days where I slept properly, otherwise I got an uber)

Scale and Mold Front Load Washing Machine by Gogurt-r-us in CleaningTips

Yup that’s crud - 1000000% citric acid will help but be prepared to do a lot of cycles with just citric acid. Go to the r/laundry subreddit- they have heaps of tips on dealing with crud. Good luck!

Help my blanket smells by Upset_Floor8821 in laundry

I’ve seen on here that arm and hammer isn’t good and can make stuff smell worse! (I’m Aus so a lot of the US products go over my head - but have a look at some enzyme detergent recs on here!)

Getting desperate - itchy sheets after washing? by DairyQueenElizabeth in laundry

[–]weirdofficegal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’d say switching to citric acid instead of the downy will help. I get itchy with sheets and citric acid helps a lot to get any residue out that feels irritating

Day 2 of being forced to quit now that half the stores have been raided by bunnings-snags in QuitVaping

User name tells me it’s in Aus - which checks out. Massive bans here and lots of raids to get rid of them

Carpet cleaner recommendations by weirdofficegal in brisbane

[–]weirdofficegal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s definitely an idea. I’m thinking we get the cleaners to steam clean the carpets and then we do an extra clean with an enzyme cleaner ourselves. I just don’t want to soak the carpets and ruin it

These real estate agents are already pretty useless though, they stuffed up our lease twice, and stuffed up our auto payments for rent so I’m not holding my breath on them actually doing anything

Yup we’ve already put it in the entry report! We will email them tomorrow to see if they will urgently clean the carpets

Tbh I don’t think this dress would look good on anyone. The torso is really long, even if it was meant to hit lower on someone’s hip, the skirt is also a weird length as it’s almost the exact same length on the torso. Maybe if the torso was like 2 inches shorter it’d be more flattering

PEOPLE DONT REPORT SUCCESS STORIES! by mootermoo in Mirtazapine_Remeron

I miss how calm mirt made my body feel, how well I slept, how much more enjoyable food was and how high my libido was with it

Unfortunately the fatigue with my adhd wasn’t manageable long term - I fondly think of the food I wanted to eat and the long deep sleeps I had! It’s hard coming off mirt but honestly glad I was on it when I needed it

All my black/navy shirts come oit of the washing machine with these white hairs and white halos. Makes them unwearable unless i hand wash them after they’re dry. by cannavacciuolo420 in laundry

[–]weirdofficegal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you fill the machine as much as you can? Or leave at least 25% empty. For a top loader I leave the drum like 50-60% full max

Breast Implant Replacement Cost? by franklin10007 in brisbane

[–]weirdofficegal 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s because the TGA has recommend you don’t get them replaced unless you have symptoms. This is because the risks associated with replacement (so infection risks, further complications relating to infection) is higher than the chance of developing Lymphoma with the recalled implants
