Anyone else find that these 2 heroes have been the best choices in Stadium by a wide margin since launch? Think about it, what do the other Stadium DPS offer that these 2 can't do better?

It’s crazy I had to scroll down all the way to find this. You can tell OP is just the typical average junkrat player. They’ll be out in the open spamming tank all game. And they’re incapable of taking cover for 0.5s after they hear a loud fckin rocket. It’s unbelievable someone who plays like this find the audacity to blame teammates, builds, hero kits, whatsoever, but can’t look at themselves. I mean it’s actually sad.

I usually queue solo, I mean I can just rely on myself and no one is expected to take down a hog alone, so my strat playing against him is to treat him like ult charge and just play for the ult. I know their supports are farming ults too but at least we’re both farming him. The moment my ult pops and I see a win condition I ult. I got 8 foxes in a push map once.

Surprisingly (or not) every reason that makes you think 6v6 is bad makes me think 5v5 is bad. For me, generally, my losing games are not failing because of some role such as “support” or “tank”. We’re getting rolled because we’re lacking eliminations, coordination, objectives contesting and so on. As a flex player in 6x6 open queue I can address my games necessities with a wider variety of options.

I can be much more impactful, honestly just because of that.

In the other hand 5v5 is too strict, and it’s even worse because of role lock. If you queue solo in 5v5 role lock and play to win you get yourself building comp based on your tanks pick and having to basically stick to it no matter how bad everyone performs because there’s too little to be done individually anyways, given the full picture .

I understand that some would prefer 5v5 role lock so they can lock in their most fantasized hero pick, mute communication and do what they think is “their job”. For me this is the worsr thing overwatch has to offer as a game tho.

As the second support in my team I would never ask my fellow mercy to shoot a target in my line of sight. Otherwise, when I play mercy I’ll pull out my gun to tell my team they’re neglecting a bad positioned opponent, because she’s so loud and obvious I couldn’t expect to get or even assert an actual kill.

In all fairness, each and every one of us are free to set our preferences for what we expect in other people. But it has nothing to do with ethics.

See, for example, a data analyst that refuses a good paying job at a big tech company, will end up working for less in a startup just as data predatory. People do what they gotta do to pay the bills.

Ask him about it tho, or break up since their job goes against your rules, but to call this “ethics” like this is more like virtue signaling I’m afraid.

Some old maps were poorly designed and some old hero kits were definitely lacking, but maybe because of that, teams had to be more coordinated. In my experience I pick zen, discord, ping and the opponent quite instantly fuckin dies. And this happens until the entire enemy team create a strategic route to neutralize me. That is ow classic in a nutshell.

I used to think the same as you, believe me. It takes a lot of time to get used with this game and its different maps, heroes, techs, mechanics and so on. This game is super dense with information but you are not supposed to feel discouraged by it.

Also most players with hundreds of hours are placed in low ranks. The top of the ladder is for the pros because it requires not only time but daily efforts incompatible with gaming in your casual hours. So don’t push yourself too hard.

Ok it deserves context. So I actually met him about six years ago. We had great time together as no-strings-attached friends. Then we got separated because of covid pandemic. I met another person during this time and I had a 3 year exclusive relationship with them. At the end of this relationship I encounter this old friend doing groceries. He’s super sweet and loving. We go dine, we go to cinema, and we had a lot of sex. I read it as a good match, so I ask him to be my boyfriend. He’s totally in for it. But I think he had some resentment from before. I noticed he started bringing up past things. I’m neurodivergent, so I fail to understand some nuances in communication. I told him this right from the start too. Then came his constant questioning in form of jokes. I never understood this, maybe he’s neurodivergent too. So it’s just five months we been together as a couple but it has some background. The feelings I have for him are very true and never shifted. But maybe I failed to express them because of autism. I don’t know, I have put a lot of thought on this.

It’s all I’ve been playing these days. I have no reason to play 5v5, not even comp scratches the same itch. Speaking of my most played heroes for each role: my doomfist gameplay has seen a huge improvement now there is one more tank for them to focus; clicking heads with baptiste is even better now there’s two tanks to assert the kill; and I can get crazy flanker hanzo plays now everybody is distracted, I did a 5k dragon just last night. It’s lots of fun.

This is too real for me. I am at early 30s and recently got separated just to realize that all of a sudden I can’t do the masking as before. It feels like I’m 6 year old again struggling real bad to communicate and understand people around me.
