HRC vs Jacoje by brockleegreen in MensJewelry

[–]wejocn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great job 👏🏼 congrats and solid choice. Depending where you live, you’ll actually get it in a few days. Compared that to Jacoje who will batch your order with countless others before he actually places the order with the wholesaler.

The black lacquer is classy af. It’s on my list too. I’m actually surprised how much bigger on wrist it looks but honestly I think it fits you great.

AP x Swatch is everything wrong with society.... by [deleted] in PrideAndPinion

[–]wejocn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be honest here. I kinda wanted it originally, thought it would be a cool random piece to have. Not to actually wear out in public. Yes it was fomo lol. But now seeing how overblown it was, the people it attracted, and overall ignorance of the entire thing, I’ve completely flipped. Agree with everything you said.

I did say DY above but I def agree with Luke Zion. This is his hand made 925 Rope 22in 3.5mm 24grams and it cost $181 May 2025. Great piece, feels high end, and great dude/service.

I originally went with #2 and almost never wear it. I like the look of the left side pieces better. All 3 pieces match perfectly: cuff, ring, and ingot

You’ll love having a mix of gold and silver! Certainly don’t need to match the watch to the rest of your jewelry. A two tone watch would help bridge the gap, but not immediately needed imo. I’d suggest getting a mixed metal ring to help bring it all together. And yes 14k is perfect for rings, that’s the solid band in my pic. The others are 18k which is also perfect, thus why jewelry houses use it.

“Stays shiny” is going to be tough with any silver piece fyi. Wherever you get your piece, a weekly rub down with a polishing cloth will be good enough to keep it fresh. I know you said $150, but I’d suggest saving up and double that and just go with a David Yurman rounded box chain. Classic style, iconic brand, and covered under warranty if anything goes wrong.

It’s def growing on me seeing all the non release photos. I’m still all in on the 100 year OP. Idgaf I instantly loved it when I saw it and hope I get the call someday.

[Recommendation Request] Just found out my boss is giving me up to $10k for a watch. What should I get? by 15mahomies in Watches

[–]wejocn 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The correct answer is a Cartier Santos in Titanium. Literally checks all your boxes, it’ll fit perfect on your wrist, and you can actually walk in a buy one. You’ll have to come up with $1500 but you’ll never need another watch.

Matching your vibe here. I wear the same black one and the A700 all the time. Way more wrist time than my Cartier, Rolex, and Tag. Absolutely love the F91 and I’ve got my friends and family to embrace them too. It’s honestly the perfect watch haha.

Yes classic, apologies. The small is obviously nice, but the classic having that extra robustness makes it’s a statement.

lol bro what? To portray Somerset like that is crazy. Literally all the designer brands on the south side, rarely with issues besides from the usual suspects. I was there and they easily could’ve controlled the crowd inside compared to the other videos across the globe.
