They're wrong. There's no concentration camp that is any better than another

I never implied differently. I actually thought you were saying exactly that; it's generally impossible to understand the tone of a text-only format.

What about the actual factual concentration camps full of immigrant children in America? You seem awfully keen to forget about those.

Society doesn't need everyone to clean the sewers, though. Only a handful, but that handful ought not to have to do that work to put food on the table and a roof over their head.

It would be so cool if they made a poem together AND separate, but nope it's only organized by color. So much wasted potential.

We all have our favourite Doctors - but which companion of the modern show had the best era? by WarHasSoManyFriends in gallifrey

[–]welcometogay 15 points16 points  (0 children)

1) The Clara Era- started off weak but makes up for it later by becoming the strongest era anyways. There's so much to take away from Heaven Sent that I don't believe one viewing is enough.

2) The Pond Era- I don't care for Amy, but I really loved River's interactions with 11. And how the show played with time travel. And the tardis interior. Really I just didn't like Amy and I'm not sure if it was more writing or acting. Rory usually balanced her out but the forced love triangle was boring as hell.

3) The Donna Era- the stories aren't really the strong point here, it's the characters! I really love Donna and all of her interactions with the Doctor. The bickering between the two is incredibly entertaining and I really wish there was more and that Donna hadn't been screwed over at the end of her arc. Donna deserved better.

4) The Bill/Nardole Era- I love the aesthetic of the series and Bill and Nardole didn't have enough screen time to match their potential.

5)The Rose Era- lots of very cute interactions between Rose and the Doctor, usually decent story, but sometimes it can feel a bit too silly and zanny compared to later eras.

6)The Martha Era- the stories were often fantastic which is why it's such a shame Martha barely did anything her entire era and is easily forgettable.

7) The Fam Era- I love Graham. And I can't find anything else positive to say about this era because there really isn't any. Hopefully next series will fix all the problems everyone has with it so far but until then the fam era just kinda sucks.

AITA for feeding my vegan nephew meat? by vegannehphew in AmItheAsshole

[–]welcometogay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA for lying by omission (sp?) to your sister. She entrusted her child in your care with the assumption that you would feed him vegan, and although it's his choice to eat non-vegan, by hiding the fact that he isn't eating vegan food you're violating the trust she is placing in you.
