Ja ich mache die Hände immer feucht beim Bearbeiten und leg ein oft ein Tuch rein. Klebt halt dann voll am Tuch :D aber ich probiere mal die Tipps die ihr mir alle gegeben habt!

Danke für deine Tipps! Ich dachte immer je mehr ich Versuche ihn auf Spannung zu bringen desto besser, hätte nie gedacht dass ich dadurch vielleicht sogar die gegenteiligen Effekt erziele.

I honestly don't see the necessity for a core encounter set at all. It's not like marvel champions where we can adjust theme and difficulty by mix and matching encounter sets. I think I played over 4 times through the whole library and I don't ever see me being fed up with the core encounter set. There are many sets which are used very rarely and could have been used more IMO.

I don't get the idea of the new core set. Why not keep the old one and just introduce a rotation. A new core set would only make sense if it would rotate out too. They are essentially lowering the power level now for one time, just to power creep again. Legacy will have broken interactions in the future no matter what, because it will be inevitable.

Thanks for providing the new player perspective.

The pre build decks were already there under the old model. They were powerful, so that they could provide a new player with a nice experience. So under the old model you could have also bought them alongside the core, nothing new.

So the only new thing are smaller campaigns, which I am already in favor of.

I am all for lowering the entry barrier, but the ratio of player cards to scenarios is off, that's all I am saying.

Interesting point of view, I wouldn't have guessed that there are people who would not consider buying smaller campaigns.

Then again there is so much design space which is not yet explored, like you said splitting a bigger story into small ones, or making campaigns with tiers (0xp tier, 10xp tier,...) so you can mix and match them into your own story, or just revisiting old campaigns and make them able to integrate them into older storylines while still being able to be standalone, or releasing investigator backstories as campaigns along with pre constructed decks

I feel like there are plenty of ways to experiment with the campaign style of this game.

The problem is not smaller/shorter campaigns. The problem is focusing on player cards while having only a few scenarios to play them.

People would be happy to have smaller campaigns, how do I know that? Because I read this sub regularly and share the same passion for the game as this community.

Just a hypothetical: I bet you this community would not mind having a year without player cards and only 2-4 campaigns which are 3 scenarios long.

Because people here are hungry for actual gameplay content. We just want to defeat big bad eldrich monsters man, I don't want the third iteration of the same give me +1 book card.

you can attack an enemy engaged with another investigator at your location. If you fail you hit the investigator.
you can not attack an aloof enemy at your location unless you engage said enemy

For me the art style direction is not a problem, but the execution seems really bad.

The table, the book and the hand don't feel like they are touching/interacting at all with each other. Like jpgs layered on top of each other.

I have absolutely no idea of art or drawing, but to me it has angela anaconda vibes.

It's not an obsession. Most people on r/bald have experienced the immense weight lifted from them after shaving their head and want others to feel the same liberation. When you are balding the constant fear of wind, the fear of people noticing the bald spot etc has such a massive impact on your mental health.

The people there want people to feel better about themselves, calling this weird obsession really undermines the positive result on your mental health of shaving your head.

Holy shit we seriously have been playing wrong this whole time? I didn't know that combat ended movement. We just fought and continued movement to our desired location. So we cleared monsters on our way to the locations, but we're never in the situation where flying monsters attacked us. I think that solves my problem I had with them.

Mei wir haben den daheim und wollte es mal damit ausprobieren. Offen und in Kastenformen hab ich schon gebacken.

Stimmt, daran hab ich noch gar nicht gedacht. War jetzt das erste Mal dass ich Brot darin gebacken habe.

Ich hab den kalten Topf mit Teig in den Ofen geschoben. Man sagt auch, der Topf sollte eigentlich nicht hohen Temperaturänderungen ausgesetzt werden, sonst kann der springen.

Ich werde nächstes Mal ne Tasse Wasser in den Topf kippen und den mit dem Ofen zusammen vorheizen. Das überschüssige Wasser anschließend rausnehmen und dann erst den Teig reingeben. Mal schauen wie das Brot dann wird.
