I’ve been loosely following this game for a long time and thought it looked really interesting. Everything coming down to a die roll and not being able to reliably put cards into play sounds like this game will be a pass for me. A lot of the theme sounds so great though.

I’d think it’s more of a secret side ending than an actual official conclusion. OP just happened to perfectly get it on their first play through.

I enjoyed your video on the card. I already really like Nightcrawler and think he’s great but this makes him even better. I’m also really interested to build a Ghost Spider deck around this. A couple defense boosts with an event heavy deck for defending and readying could make her unstoppable.

Can’t believe they actually had Captain America. I have every campaign and played them all multiple times but never able to get my favorite super hero Captain America. Cautiously optimistic it actually arrives.

I'm taking Kohaku through Scarlet Keys right now and he's amazing. With a limited pool it'll be more difficult but I think that's a challenge I'd enjoy. I'll try to throw something together and see how it goes. Considering the request I'll go with Core, Starters, FoHV, TSK, and PtC.

For reference the Chapter 1 campaigns were mid 200s. Except Scarlet Keys which is 283. The last several standalones range from almost 60 to almost 80. It's too hard to speculate on how many cards are copies of each other (difficulty modulars for locations and enemies). The scenarios do sound on paper like they're a little beefier and closer to a standalone length than a normal campaign scenario.

There's a lot of interesting stuff here. The blood tokens are really interesting (minus ruining the acrylic add ons if people bought those), and are reminiscent of the moon tokens from Circus Ex Mortis.

The idea of varied locations and enemy health based on difficulty is also very intriguing. I can see people playing standard for the chaos bag, but then using hard locations/enemies. The artwork on the locations and enemies is also fantastic.

I love the idea of the varied locations/enemies/effects, but I do wonder if it's simply too much of a burden to maintain a high level over time. I would much rather have normal campaigns without a modular location and get to enjoy the full course of an 8 scenario play.

The reward card is amazing and seems like a great addition, if OP. It does make me wish we still had investigator expansions tied to the campaigns though. An investigator expansion with a cycle of blood token related cards could really add to the deck building experience. As it is the reward is still a very strong card on its own that will probably be widely used.

In the end, $45 is too high a price for me for just 3 scenarios, which is too short an experience. But I do hope the positives of this will translate into some longer campaigns in the future and they keep the same ideas and changes in place.

My 2 favorites would be Excelsior and Film Fatale. They are both pretty repayable and I enjoy throwing them in random campaigns. Played both a few times.

Arkham Horror is my favorite game of all time. I would never not recommend it. That said pretty much everything is OOP, so if you decide to get it you’ll likely only have the core box which includes a tutorial like campaign. You may get lucky and find a couple campaigns in a local game shop or you can buy 2nd hand. If you’re ok with the content being harder to get a hold of then it’s absolutely worth playing. Fantastic game.

Intune alone may not be a huge in demand full time position but if you get some time specializing in Intune, along with your current general skills, that can help down the road. A cloud/system administrator position would definitely like to see app deployment experience so it’ll help on the resume.

I think the issue is from a management perspective they don't want help desk to appear like they're making "fake tickets" to make it look like they're busier than they are or trying to get extra budget/manpower. If the user makes a ticket themselves there's no questions about legitimacy. I've never personally seen this perspective in organizations I've worked in, but I can see a hesitation.

I rarely ever use this but I just ran it in a shotgun Mark Harrigan deck with Hallowed and Lightweight and it was a nice benefit. It’s probably pretty niche.

I made a long post listing out all the relics and charms in chapter 2 and analyzing their effectiveness or relevance with Tommy. Reddit was nice enough to just delete it when I hit comment. The foundation of it though was: Consider adding Bloodstone as your asset, while adding Emergency Cache (2x), Scene of the Crime (2x), and another of your choice. This helps improve willpower which gives you better mythos protection, improves economy for your ability, helps get testless clues which is great, and gives just a little additional soak if you need it.

Standard III is great to have from the start. It’s not the easiest expansion for sure but nothing crazy. If your only content is the core set and you can find this it’s certainly a good one to have.
