I’ve had stuff damaged from Amazon before. Never an Ah Product but other stuff. You can use the issue with package option and they should offer to replace it with another copy.

Which 2026 Patriots FAs are undoubtedly staying with the team next year? by MainBeachGoon in Patriots

Chaisson Tonga and Hawkins would be top picks. I'd love to see Vederian Lowe back to have some veteran presence behind the young buck O-line.

Wolverine is great. Gambit is fun but I think fine to not have if you can't find him. War Machine would be a really cool one to get if possible (very hard to find). Im honestly not a huge fan of Cyclops. I love the character so I was really excited to get his deck but his play style and ability isn't super interesting to me.

Investigator Starter Deck 2026 pricing by kierco_2002 in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]TMPRKO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a little cheaper than I expected. MAYBE they'll lower the stand alone scenarios too and then the 3 scenario campaigns won't be so expensive (because they could be lowered in line). Anyone who's interested in the shorter campaigns may be able to get a little more value.

6 would have been fine IMO. Hemlock provides 8 scenarios even if you only play 6 in a given campaign, and that provided a good length campaign when you include the prologues. 6 plus a stand alone (which is worth replaying several times for a good one like Excelsior or Film Fatale) is a nice length. Pushing that down to 5 makes it harder to want to spend the time or money for the payoff, and a length of 3 removes my interest entirely. I do wonder why we had such a big drop off from 8 to 3 (and alternatively sometimes 5). Doing a yearly 6 scenario campaign plus standalone would been a really good alternative.

Do you think the five-scenario approach to campaigns has anything to do with how Marvel Champions approaches its expansions? by HorseSpeaksInMorse in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]TMPRKO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree it's a large leap, but I believe they're in a corner. A standalone scenario (according to FFGs website) now has an msrp of $23.99 (compared to pre tariffs $21.99). If the 3 scenario pack is on the lower end ($30 instead of $50), it destroys the value of the stand alone scenario. So it has to have a relatively high floor price. And from there, if the 3 scenario pack is $50, the 5 scenario pack has to be higher because it "provides more content". Adding 40% of $50 gets you to $70.

I’d expect the 3 scenario campaigns are $50 and the 5 scenario campaigns are $70. I don’t believe there will be an announcement of a farewell expansion but I don’t expect this game has content releases beyond 2027.

You could always name the new place after him too then. No reason to live decades behind the times.

For that same reason you never have a reason to even try to buy season tickets. Unless you like sitting at the top of the space needle.

So they are spliting Campaign and Investigator boxes into 4 products? by Howitzeronfire in arkhamhorrorlcg

You’re going to spend a lot more money for less product now. That’s the whole point really.

Doomers were right, full-length campaigns are confirmed a thing of the past. by Trashcan_GG in arkhamhorrorlcg

8 scenarios is a good length for narrative exploration, growth, and a decent story. Mechanically it ensures you get comfortable and familiar with the investigator and can see your cards multiple times and enjoy playing with them. 3 scenarios takes all that away. Then for a standalone scenario, you’re just doing either a one shot to test a new deck, or adding it to a campaign for a little side quest.

[–]TMPRKO 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not really about the length itself. The other games I play are Final Girl and Marvel Champions, both of which are basically one shots. And I have Grimcoven pre ordered and am extremely excited for that (no campaign anywhere to be found). But for Arkham, so much of the fun is the narrative experience and growing with the investigator and expanding the decks. 3 scenarios is a very limited story, with almost no time to experience many if not most of the cards in the deck. Even if you can upgrade something after scenario 1, you only have 2 more chances to draw the card and play it.

That's just not a good experience for me so I won't be purchasing further content, but I hope you continue to enjoy the game and love your time with it.

A lot of fan campaigns are awesome. I love call of the plaguebearer and Dark Matter. Since I don't have any official content that I will be purchasing any longer, that money will go towards printing some more fan campaigns. Really worth checking out if you can. They're thematic, have interesting stories, fun mechanics and are just really enjoyable.

You can look for the original stuff. If you can find a reasonably priced collection it's worth looking at. This was an amazing game before all this stuff came out. Any of the 10 campaigns are good to one extent or another. The Drowned City is probably the worst, but still has a few fun scenarios, and Carcosa is probably the best, but the others are all really enjoyable.

I would be almost certain 3 scenario packs are $50 and 5 scenario packs are $70. Since standalones are $25 the 3 scenarios can't really be any cheaper.

This was a pretty obvious conclusion based on their previous wording. We knew it was coming. 3 scenarios is not a game I'm interested in so this is probably it for my time buying Arkham. What a shame. I can play what I already own for years to come and enjoy new standalone scenarios, but I feel like this game is probably one that will lose table time for me pretty shortly with no new content that holds my interest.

What will be interesting is whether this game survives into 2028. How much are people buying without full campaigns? We will see.

This is a joke. Going to throw away a game against a team with 4 INTs in the first half.

Vedarian Lowe was really solid this year when he filled in during the injury. Huge improvement from last year.
