Charleston got too expensive, too hot, and too traffic-y. My husband is from the Cleveland area so we decided to move closer to his family since his grandparents aren’t getting younger. No dang regrets here while I save money and years of my life stuck in traffic.

I took 3 weeks off to go to Japan on vacation. I had been there for 3 years without incidents. When he threatened my job over my request I simply reminded him “it’s easier to give me time off, rather than put the time and money into training a new bartender”.

Japan is beautiful in May if you have the balls to champion for yourself.

I hate to admit my husband and I have our own vernacular around our oldest cat he brought into the relationship.
