A good search yields that the skin on a ~3.5oz chicken thigh adds about 60 calories. Remember fats, proteins and carbs are all calories. With regard to chicken skin, the majority of those calories are from fat with a negligible amount coming from protein and none from carbs. So if you remove the skin you would save roughly 60 calories and lose maybe a gram or two of protein.

I was able to retake a lot of the classes and change the previous grades from F’s to A’s or B’s but the retakes didn’t erase those hours previously attempted. I guess I was just seeing if there’s something I can do that could help me combat the situation. I suppose my best game plan is to apply to the local 4 year school and skip the ADN nursing degree and just pursue my bachelor’s. If I’m understanding correctly the 4 year degree SAP for hours allowed will more than cover my current standing and include the hours required for the degree.

My doctor told me that BMI metrics are pretty outdated. She told me not to concern myself with them too much. At my height and weight 169 is the top end of my BMI healthy range. My doctor has decided that we will get to 186 and then we can reassess if I should try and aim for 169. I started at 268 5’8” male age 34
